Real Time Crypto Trading Q&A (Recording)
Hey guys, went through a very high level initial overview of crypto via CoinMarketCap.com - let me know what you think - we'll go more in detail with other altcoins in the future too (Definitely won't use Zoom for this going forward but the quality gets better 1 minute in once we start reviewing the crypto prices!) We cover a few high level Key Steps - I dive into some insights on evaluating different cryptocurrencies and how to make informed decisions about including them in your portfolio. Given that many of us are juggling multiple responsibilities, I aimed to keep it concise and practical, focusing on strategies that can be applied part-time Anyhow, here's the recording! https://www.loom.com/share/e029d2a396de4ee5959ec024f0c3193b?sid=fcff1313-b1ec-456f-98b6-3c203fc18e41 Cautionary Notes - Be cautious of market volatility; prices can fluctuate rapidly. - Avoid following market hype without conducting proper research. - Do not invest in cryptocurrencies that show signs of being inactive or abandoned. Tips for Efficiency - Dedicate a specific time each day (e.g., 10 minutes) to monitor the cryptocurrency market. - Use alerts on cryptocurrency platforms to notify you of significant price changes. - Keep a trading journal to document your decisions, strategies, and outcomes for future reference. - Leverage tools and resources available through the Part-Time Crypto Academy for deeper insights and strategies.

Tracking cryptos
Hi I was wondering what you use to track movements in cryptos, like traditional stock exchanges. Is there a program/web site that specializes in tracking cryptos that you use? Thanks

@Audun Nilsen Also just want to make sure we've covered the basics like https://coinmarketcap.com/ to make sure you can keep proper track of general crypto coin pricing - and then whichever exchange you use - where are you based out of @Audun Nilsen ?
Bitcoin Market Update
ā—¾Bitcoin recently saw a drop from $108,300 to $95,500, catching the attention of the crypto community. Hereā€™s whatā€™s driving the market: ā—¾Federal Reserve Impact: The Fed's cautious stance on future rate reductions has added uncertainty to the market. ā—¾Statements on Bitcoin: Fed Chair Powell clarified that the Federal Reserve cannot hold Bitcoin, cooling optimism about institutional adoption. ā—¾Profit-Taking: After reaching new highs, many investors cashed out, leading to a natural market correction. ā—¾Market Volatility: High leverage and liquidations in the futures market amplified the price decline. The crypto market remains highly volatile. Keep an eye on macroeconomic developments and manage risk carefully. šŸŒšŸ“‰ Whatā€™s your take on Bitcoinā€™s next move? Letā€™s discuss!

Yep saw that not nice drop in our crypto wallets aha - but it'll go back up, only issue is when people get stressed and sell too early but for anyone that hasn't taken profits for awhile, that was definitely the right time to take it
The History of Bitcoin: From Pizza to $100K
2009: Bitcoin was created by the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto, with the first block (Genesis Block) mined. 2010: The first real-world Bitcoin transaction happened when 10,000 BTC bought two pizzasā€”worth over $1 billion today. 2017: Bitcoinā€™s first major boom saw it hit $20,000, bringing global attention. 2020ā€“2021: Institutional adoption skyrocketed as companies like Tesla and MicroStrategy invested in Bitcoin, and El Salvador made it legal tender. 2024: Bitcoin crossed the $100,000 mark, solidifying its place as a revolutionary digital asset. From a niche experiment to a global phenomenon, Bitcoinā€™s journey is far from over! šŸš€

Short term investing
Hey, I get that many approach this with a long-term mindset, but what about focusing on a 5-year horizon? If it helps you afford a new car or puts you closer to securing a property, thatā€™s still a significant achievement for most people. Alternatively, you could stick with it for 10+ years and see even greater results.

Absolutely - thats a great point and that is usually how the best investing will occur - the buy and hold strategy but you'll then want to pick the right assets to do that - for example you'll target Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana for long term holds rather than like random memecoins
