Suggested Trip to Monument Valley
šŸ“ Must-Visit Photo Spots The Mittens and Merrick Butte: The Mittens and Merrick Butte stand as towering sentinels within Monument Valley, their iconic silhouettes providing an awe-inspiring backdrop for both sunrise and sunset photography. These majestic formations, shaped by the forces of nature over millennia, capture the first and last light of the day in a spectacle of changing colors and shadows. Photographers are afforded a rare opportunity to capture the interplay of light on these monumental structures, creating images that resonate with the timeless beauty of the American Southwest. John Fordā€™s Point: John Fordā€™s Point offers expansive, panoramic views that have become synonymous with the American West, largely due to their frequent appearances in classic Western films directed by John Ford himself. This vantage point presents a sweeping vista of the valley below, with vast skies and an endless horizon that have captivated filmmakers and photographers alike. The grandeur and vastness of the landscape from this perspective provide a profound sense of scale, making it an essential stop for anyone seeking to capture the essence of Monument Valley's cinematic landscape. The Three Sisters: A formation of three slender, towering spires, stand as a testament to the delicate beauty and artistry of natural erosion. Best photographed in the soft glow of the morning or the gentle light of the late afternoon, these elegant structures are highlighted against the vast desert backdrop, creating a striking contrast. The interplay of light and shadow around these spires brings out the intricate textures and forms of the rock, offering photographers a chance to capture the serene and spiritual ambiance that this unique formation evokes. šŸ“øĀ 3 Possible Photos to Capture Monument Valley's vast, open landscapes and towering sandstone buttes present a wealth of photographic opportunities, each offering a window into the soul of the American Southwest. Here are three compelling photo ideas for your visit:

@Thomas Wakefield You should!
Fellow Photographer, I'm Excited To Have You Here
Hi there and welcome to this community of landscape photographers. It's time I created a community that is much more than a Facebook group. Here you'll get to make new friends, learn a few things and teach a few things if you want. Why a dedicated community? Because the groups and pages really suck. I feel like I never found the perfect group to join because everyone just share their photos on go about their days. You know, pretty selfish, which is understandable to a degree. Here you'll be able to share your photos but you're going to have to be active with other members in the community. I'm goin to track who's just posting and leaving and those members will get kicked out. Sorry for the bluntness. Please introduce yourself. You can follow the points below: 1. Name 2. Curent location 3. Favorite photos to capture 4. Three images (choose wisely) Also, what camera do you own (just for fun)?
