Portfolio feedback webinar (DONE 29/08)
I am hosting a free portfolio feedback webinar today, so it’ll be very engaging and valuable [IT WON’T BE RECORDED] so you’re either there, or you’re not 🥲 Direct feedback to website and social media portfolio layouts in order to increase your conversions and close in more clients 😮‍💨 We have 4 portfolios submitted, I’ll take a max of 2 more for now 🙌 don’t be shy, this is a massive chance to get a constructive review on the way you lay out your social proof! The original post is under the freelancers section, you can PM me your link or comment it below. If the spaces are taken by the call it’s unlikely I’ll be able to give further feedback. Everyone is welcome to join and listen in, of course. If there’s time towards the end I’ll open a brief QA regarding portfolio relevance ONLY 🙏 This will be the webinar link, add a reminder on your calendars 🪄https://meet.google.com/fjy-kszv-dvm

Figma and Webflow
I've been practicing using Figma for wireframes and building pages from scratch using Webflow. For those of you guys who have experience using Figma wireframing and webflow, when you create a wireframe in Figma is there a way to import it into Webflow so you can start from the layout built, or is the wireframe just for mental mapping before building the page out in webflow?

Client opportunity - reply under this post
6 Figure Freelance students, this one is for you I’ve been reviewing student projects in the last few days and already very good stuff Your landing pages are coming together nicely and some of the copy I’ve been seeing is top tier. So with that being said, I’ve got a potential client opportunity for those who are confident with their Webflow skills and can build it out in a week or less Please reply to this post with your portfolio or projects you’ve done. Or come along to Sulys workshop tomorrow where he’ll be reviewing all your portfolios live on the call 📞 (We won’t be recording tomorrows session, so turn up to get live, tailored feedback)

I’m ready for that client. www.akhitweet.com
Portfolio: No clients? No problem.
Previously shared my portfolio here http://www.akhitweet.com but quickly realised I don't have much in the way of web design examples on my portfolio, so, it's worth building some dummy sites to put onto a portfolio to showcase what you're capable of. Using some Webflow cloneables, I built https://fighting-demons.webflow.io/ tonight, and slapped it onto the main portfolio on http://www.akhitweet.com and threw together some quick mockups too. If you're starting out, I think it's a great idea to do the same. I've signed up for the initial webflow plan which gives you about 10 unhosted sites. I'm considering using 5 of them for dummy sites like this one until they're slowly replaced by real client work. You can also come up with a fake company if you're really struggling to find a client, and use ChatGPT to generate an entire description client request to work with. For more cloneables, check out https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow
