Portfolio: No clients? No problem.
Previously shared my portfolio here http://www.akhitweet.com but quickly realised I don't have much in the way of web design examples on my portfolio, so, it's worth building some dummy sites to put onto a portfolio to showcase what you're capable of. Using some Webflow cloneables, I built https://fighting-demons.webflow.io/ tonight, and slapped it onto the main portfolio on http://www.akhitweet.com and threw together some quick mockups too. If you're starting out, I think it's a great idea to do the same. I've signed up for the initial webflow plan which gives you about 10 unhosted sites. I'm considering using 5 of them for dummy sites like this one until they're slowly replaced by real client work. You can also come up with a fake company if you're really struggling to find a client, and use ChatGPT to generate an entire description client request to work with.
