I wanted to ask a question...how much does it take you to create a fire intro ? Like 30 seconds or something, because i edit 15 seconds in like 8 hours or something ( I'm still a beginner so i take time, but i also try to perfect things so i don't mind spending an hour doing an animation that will stay on the screen for two seconds )

Hey, I'm Draconis 👋 My name is Mohamed Eslam, I'm 17, and I'm from Egypt, I'm a video editor and I've been editing for around three years now but started to learn seriously like three months ago. I don't make money from video editing currently, but I'm planning to take it full time in the soon future. The reason why I started video editing is simple: I don't accept my financial situation 😮‍💨. I'm born in a normal household, where we can basically just afford our food, rent and education... And that's it... I can't even have a little bit of fun without worrying about how much I'm going to spend...and it takes me like 10 months to buy something that costs around $100... And i couldn't accept living this way forever...so i decided to take matters into my own hands at the age of 17...and my goal is to be financially stable...retire my parents...and be able to live my life comfortably even if I will put a lot of effort. For why I joined this community, it's because i want to be better at video editing...self-branding...and overall succeeding in freelancing and being one of the top editors in the world. For my hobbies: I like working out, learning new things, playing video games, playing soccer, and I've started to take interest in drawing and art lately. And that's everything, pleasure to meet you all ❤️

As video editors, what will you do after succeeding?😶 Let's say it's two years to the future, you are making 7-10k USD per month Will you Just stay in the same spot or try to do something to scale even further ? I will answer in the comments, and i hope to see your answers!

I finally landed my first client, he may not be a big client, but he is a long term one which is huge compared to how I used to edit practice footage! Planning on raising my prices with him soon but for now I'm alright with the prices since what he wants is simple editing for his gaming shorts, and it's also long term so i will end up making a good amount of money from it! This is just the start though and I'm sure I will achieve more in the future <3
