Trying to bring glucose numbers down to Seyfried recommendation
I water fast for 24 hours, it brings me into ketosis. And when I eat I slip out of ketosis. Is that happening because of what I'm eating? Is it because I'm eating too much? Can you help me solve this mystery? Thanks!

@Kimberly Smith indeed, I am thinking in terms of bmglucose numbers. I realize now that metformin can help with this prong of my issues - metformin could potentially /possibly (we don't know for sure?) help with the glucose numbers , even though it might not be effective for my tumor cells. How long as it doesn't antagonize my tumor cells...

@Joseph Lackland I see I shared that on August 5. Lots has changed since August 5. Lots 😉 I've totally eliminated all veggies. My staples now are eggs and sardines and mct oil and more sardines. I tried 2 avocados as a meal a few days ago and my glucose stayed stable in the 70's and my gki was excellent! It seems to me the sardines may be an issue at this time, though i'm unsure. I've stopped all nuts as well, cuz my gut sense was that nuts are triggering inflammation.
Fasting
Hi friends, I've started a 24 hour fast once a week, any thoughts on this from others? Is it sustainable and worth while?

The more important question in my mind is this: "what, if any, difference do you notice when you fast?" "Is fasting personally useful to you?" "Do you feel good about fasting? Or do you feel not good about fasting?" In My view, fasting is a personal decision for each person to make based on their unique circumstances, capacities, motivation, etc etc. I personally feel so much benefit during the fast and post fast, that I actually look forward to my fasts LOL. My friend, on the other hand, says she feels awful when she fast and does not want to fast. There our books on water fasting, how to eat in the days leading up to a fast, etc etc you might glean some info there perhaps
Vincent (Metcancer) interviews Dr. D'Agostino! Questions?
So Vincent is going to interview Dr. Dominic D'Agostino, he just sent an email out to his members if they have questions! How about you guys pose some questions as well, I will pack them up and send, say 5-7 to Vincent, maybe he will indeed ask them! So what do you want to know from Dr. Dom? :-)

If I can get a hold of a soft chamber HBOT , and have it in my home for a month or two, and the limit is 1.3 ATA. Would this help me at all? What are the instructions or guidelines he'd suggest for me?

Poll Regarding US health insurance:
I am a little bit curious: We Germans have the impression that only very few US Americans have health insurance, and one of my friends sais, because of that, they can simply choose metabolic therapy or classoc standarc of care: The costs are more or less the same. But I doubt that I think that plenty of US guys have a health insurance. So my question simply is: Hoe many of you guys do have a health insurance? And does/ would it cover your SOC expenses?

@Linda Osborn Medicaid options are so limited. The good doctors/surgeons are not to be had via Medicaid, only via commercial or private insurance.

@Zebs Circle not functional medicine or integrative. Only standard of care
Psyllium husk before DON
I understand you should take psyllium husk before DON. In what form do you take it: just mixing with water? Can you make patties out of in and fry? Will it serve the same purpose if it's mixed with something else such as an egg? Thank you for your thoughts.

what's the purpose of the psyllium husks? what does it do for us when we take it prior to DON? What might happen if we don't take it?
