Unstuck Yourself! Why Your Brain Is Holding You Back
If you want to “unstuck yourself” then book your discovery call now. 👈 Because you can’t keep doing the same things and expect different results. “You have to change, to change.” Ever wonder why it’s so hard to break out of old habits… even when you know it’s not helping you achieve your goals? It’s because of your brain’s survival instinct. Change requires energy. Which your brain wants to conserve. (That’s why we avoid doing hard things, and gravitate towards the easy stuff.) Change means trying something new. And “new” involves risk. 😨 And because your brain is wired to keep you safe, you get stuck doing what’s easy and familiar. Even if it isn’t getting you closer to your goals. 🥅 That’s why so many guitarists find themselves doing the same things over-and-over. And then wonder, “Why am I not making any real progress?” It’s not because you don’t want to change. It’s your hidden survival-instinct in your brain that is actually stopping you! The good news? Once you know that trying something new is always a little “scary,” then you can ignore that voice in your head that’s holding you back. Ready to unstuck yourself? Book your discovery call today 👈 Cheers! Dan Denley GuitarZoom Academy Advisor Guitar InstructorP.S. Everyday we help guitarists who are stuck, with no structure, no guidance, and no clear goals unstuck themselves. Will you be next?

100% true, it's sometimes hard to get out of your comfort zone and try something new, but it's the key to progress. I'd like to believe it's better to try and fail than not try at all 🙂
Most Emotional Guitar Solo
While we are all impressed with technically perfect shredders, who do you think does a great job of putting emotion into their solos? For example: Eddie Van Halen is an excellent guitarist, but I don't think of his solos as full of emotion. But... Gary Moore was a virtuoso and he jam packed emotions into his solos. Still Got the Blues and Empty Rooms get me in the feels every time I listen to them. Another great example of emotional soloing: Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti on Blackbird. Let's hear your favorite emotion solos.

Synyster Gates is my favorite guitar player so I'd say his one on "So Far Away" by Avenged Sevenfold, the song itself is very emotional and I think he does an incredible job on it 🙂
