Payment transfer
Hi. I hope that everyone has started year 2025 nicely. One question popped my mind. What could be best option to receive payments from abroad? Someone in one movie composer group in Facebook said that Wise has lowest user fees, but i am not familiar with Wise. Is someone? Or any other suggestions? Paypal or just regular bank transfer? I think bank transfer takes a big cut from your payment.

@Alex Pfeffer Actually this was different thing. Yes i have asked in Linkedin inmail if its okay to send reels, and couple has answered yes i will look them, couple has answered very nice music. I will keep you in mind. BUT the thing i was referring: I managed to catch via my connections (outside of Linkedin) one historical movie, and one document director, they gave me reference track and asked a demo. I did send those demos. Movie director: i like your music, i am going to negotiate soon with a producing company and keep you in mind. Document director: did not reply, i had to remind her. Then she answered, oh sorry too much email coming in, i will check it now. And i havent heard nothing from 2 weeks now from both of them

Okay, let's continue. First, make sure to watch the video and follow as described. 1. Create a demo reel that speaks directly to your desired client. 2. 4-5 tracks, not too long, again focusing on your target group 3. An attention-grabbing video could work 4. If you have credits, feel free to put them on there. It is always a good thing! 5. Regarding your bio, don't try to impress with tons of information. Try to grab attention! 6. Once you are done, share your reel in the comments so we can look at it! :) Check out Reelcrafter โ†’ HERE Want to achieve more? ๐Ÿ‘‰ Book Your Free Strategy Call Now

Potentially my first gig in the film industry
Hello. A few days ago I sent an application to a director/screenwriter who is preparing her first film. I did it a bit as a joke, without taking it very seriously because, despite liking the audiovisual industry, I barely have any experience (only three short songs on YouTube and I am currently composing for two video games). However, I didn't expect her to accept my application! Now she has asked me to set up an interview, and I am very nervous because I have never gotten to this point. I am writing here to ask for advice from someone who has more experience in this (probably several of you who are reading me). What kind of questions do interviewers typically ask in the film industry, for example? What should I ask? Thank y'all in advance โ˜บ๏ธ
