10 Secrets to 10X Your Social Status on IG
Hey guys my name is Miguel and I'm new here. I wanted to share some tips that were given to me. Feel free to comment on this post to share some insight on this or use these tips if you'd like 1. No one else in the photo, besides yourself or with girls 2. Look away from the camera 3. The photo has to be color-graded 4. No selfies 5. You must be in a high-status environment or desirable location 6. Showing accessibility to scarce resources (pictures of traveling or FOMO) 7. You need to tell a story 8. There needs to be mystery 9. Pose with a stoic face unless it’s your natural environment 10. Your social media should be used as a funnel

Book about status
One of the most discussed subjects here is status. There is quite fresh book about it titled Status and Culture. It is little bit academic but gives deep overview and you can find there useful tips.

Here author describes relation between status and having good taste. While having good taste qualifies us for normal status, we can aim for higher status by developing great taste. We can “cultivate” ourselves over time to make more advanced choices that will garner more respect. To develop a sophisticated taste for wine, the oenophile Allan Sichel says, the student should first “trust his own palate.” But after that point, there must be a conscious desire to learn more. Then, “as experience grows and perception becomes keener, his taste is certain to change and wines which at first pleased may now bore or actively displease.” To gain status from great taste involves progress across three attributes: deep knowledge, congruence, and bounded originality.

Author also describes artifacts of status among different social classes. New Money’s use of economic capital in signaling spurs the creation of expensive luxury goods such as sports cars, limousines, mansions, yachts, summer homes, designer clothes, and furniture. Old Money’s countersignaling and focus on patina and cultural capital incentivize companies to make classic, modest goods with a functional appeal. The professional class’s signaling through information creates a market for middlebrow mass media/consumer guides, functional goods, artisanal goods, and copies of Old Money lifestyles. Underprivileged individuals’ desire to take part in culture and outdo peers pushes companies to offer kitsch and flashy entry-level luxury goods.
MEN OF ACTION STEP 3 – Find 6 value-giving events
Easier said than done. You can’t just go on Eventbrite. There’s no value in sending a girl an event she could find herself or that she has to pay for. It’s only valuable if you can tell her something she doesn’t already know, and/or get her in for free. Start figuring out where the cool places are to go, meet people there, and get a feel for what private or VIP events are happening in your town. Value-giving events include: 📸 Photoshoots 🐶 Charity Events 👙 Competitions 👯‍♀️ Theme Parties 🎫 List Parties And so many more. What high-value events have you found in your city?
