@James Eddinger Jedi trades on both. I set up my supply and demand zones on the 1hr chart and then execute trades on the 30 min chart. I was doing the 5 min chart but from my understanding it takes more skill to be successful with trades on lower time frames so I’m trying 30 min time frames now. I was doing 1hr entries for a bit but it usually takes longer for my trades to fill.

@Josh Krodel My data has shown me that trying to make trades because I feel like I’m missing out doesn’t really ever end well. Like placing trades in lower time frames that don’t meet proper entry criteria just because I want to enter and win some money. I’m definitely transitioning to looking for higher quality and higher probability winning trades instead of trying to make more trades. Quality over quantity is something that Kyle always preaches and I need to stay in that mindset and just be patient.

@Sterling White I don’t think timeframes matter too much. Only how long you prefer your trades to take to fill I think. So if you set up trades on smaller timeframes (1m, 5m) your trade would be completed quicker whether you win or lose the trade. If you set up a trade on the 1hr chart then your trade will most likely take a while to fill unless the market does a crazy move in that hour. I’m still pretty new but that’s what I took from the different timeframes.

Great job Matthew! What futures are you primarily trading? I’ve been on Gold and MES but like to see what others are trading.

@Greg McMahan this was a Jedi trade on the 5 min MES chart. I know usually you want the 1 hr chart for Jedi trades but I’ve been getting the hang of practicing Jedi trades on both 1 hr and 5 min charts and figuring out the differences.
