Question on how to respond to the huge market shift based on the FED decision
I assume there is some nuance to this question, so I'd love to get a better idea of how to view a large shift like this. Is it as simple as going back to some older demand zones that may be in play now? Is it more valuable to look at some bigger timeframes to get an idea of our zones? Related to that, since this fed rate change happened right after a contract change, how does that effect our zones from the previous contract? Thanks for any wisdom and experience!

@Stephen Gerald Onyia Can I ask a question about your zones? Attached is an edit of your screenshot. I would have created the zone further to the left since it was the start of an upward move. My question to you is the zone circled in red. Assuming my edited zone holds true, wouldn't the circled zone be a response and therefore would not be fresh? Just asking to get a better understanding of your thought process and squeeze some more wisdom out of you. 😉 I hope this question makes sense!

@Stephen Gerald Onyia That's great! Thank you for clarifying and explaining further. :)
New Trader/Student
Hey everyone! Just finished step 2 in the classroom. I enjoy Kyles approach in telling you only what you need to know at this point of the learning curve. As someone brand new to day trading, this really helps me not to feel overwhelmed. Great job Kyle! With having said that, I'm very excited to dive into the big money playbook! For those that have gone before me, what advice would you recommend to someone at this point in their day trading journey? Thanks!

Be patient, take notes, and don't be afraid to rewatch certain videos. There are videos I've watched 3-4 times to make sure I understand the concepts and philosophy behind why we're doing what we're doing. Make sure you finish all the classes and treat them all as critical, because they are. You're going to do great. :)

@Tim Morton This is good advice. :)
My regular post on this…
STOP getting into trade copiers and multiple prop accounts if you’re new to this. It’s dumb. The only thing that drives that decision is greed and irrational urgency. Here’s what you do: - Focus on managing a SINGLE account - Get that account to a payout - Use that payout to scale If you haven’t gotten to a payout you have no business using a trade copier.

@Kyle Henris One of the most helpful quotes I've heard for leadership: "First rule of leadership - it's always your fault." - Hopper from A Bugs Life. 😉
Tradingview question
Even when paper trading, you have to get the cme real time add on?

Any live trading for Tradingview requires the CME add-on. It's explained in the course how to find that. :)
