Are you automating your marketing content at all?
If you could access any data through AI, what would it be?
Working on something very special. Tell me your wishlist. Do you want to bring in realtime web traffic information (like how many searches for certain keywords were made on google or how many visits to certain sites happened), your private sales (shopify, amazon) or website metrics (like google analytics), or something else? What do you want to do with it? AI enthusiasts like yourselves will drive the future of AI, let me know what REAL information you want in AI so you don't need to copy/paste or rely on AI making stuff up! Thank you!

OpenAI's Structured Outputs are Great
If you didn't know, last month, OpenAI released Structured Outputs. I've used them in PyroPrompts for decision making and planning and they're an absolute game-changer. Read up on them: https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/structured-outputs/examples They allow you to define the exact format the LLM will respond with. Their examples cover structured data extraction and even building UI elements. This was more challenging to do before, but it makes programmatically leveraging AI that much more powerful. If you're building with AI, this seems like a great thing to leverage. I am. What would you use it for? There's also an Open Source version that's been out for a long time: https://github.com/outlines-dev/outlines

Top-Down vs Bottoms-Up AI
Anyone working with Agents which are deciding what to do, doing it and then considering next steps? I've found that having some really well-defined concrete tasks to be the game-changer in how an Agent works. Teach it to do those things well, use them as building blocks, make sure it doesn't attempt to do things it doesn't know how to do (tell me when you don't know how to do something instead of guessing). I consider this to be Bottoms-Up AI. Teach tasks, tell it to do those tasks. Add more tasks until it's a skill. Eventually enough skills is mastery. Starting with a vague ask (Top-Down) and expecting it to plan and decide and execute has really only wasted my money. What's your experience with this?

And spoke about this on X: https://x.com/ferrants/status/1828908213888340388
Go upgrade your automations to use the new models
If your automation is using GPT-3.5, GPT-4o mini is better and cheaper. Test it out and upgrade! PyroPrompts tells you when your automation is using an older model and that you can upgrade it. https://x.com/ferrants/status/1826732875125063866
