Curious about the community here
Hi there, I am Mat from Hannover, Germany. I am studying the epigenetics of addiction now for over a decade, but finally also getting an education in counseling. My favorite apps are Obsidian, Things3 and Amie calendar, because they play nicely together. I'm excited to learn more about other ways to integrate / automate data import into Obsidian. See you in the topics!

Update: I got rid of Keepit in favor of a paid dropbox account that allows me to context-search all my dropbox files and offers me 2TB of space. It feels like evernote with a real directory and without extra stuff. Focusing now on Dropbox for files, Obsidian for notes and Things for tasks.

@Yaaqoub Eliyyahu I am fasting at least once a year for at least a week. Without it my health deteriorates noticeably. I am also keeping my meals to 2 a day: late breakfast at 11am-ish and dinner with my wife. Why you asking?
Obsidian vs Logseq
Logseq is in a state of pause at the moment & Obsidian keeps moving forward with updates and plugins. Please correct me if you see it differently.

See this exactly as you do, @Yaaqoub Eliyyahu! LogSeq is currently in a crisis that eventually will be solved by the database solution. The problem is that currently sync, one of the most important features for trusting a system, is unusable at best and destructive (as in: deleting entries) worst. All this while Obsidian is kicking it in all departments of comparison.
What app do yo currently use for your tasks?
I'm working on a new YouTube video and would love to hear about what has already worked for you in task management, as well as your current struggles with it.

Things3 is my current choice. I restricted myself to only switching task managers once a year. Things integrates nicely with Obsidian, there is a plugin that imports all logged tasks. Good for weekly reviews having it all in one place. It also integrates with Amie (free still), that syncs the database to a calendar of choice. The sweetest deal ever: Things and Calendar management with visible tasks.
New to the zone
Hello everyone. New here and new to Tana. I come from the land of logseq.

Hey there, went from LogSeq to Obsidian, but am seriously tempted by craft. Tana is not working properly at work - and I spend quite a while there... What is your experience with Tana so far? Could you import your graph?
