I like this! It’s another habit building process for me - while intend to be a pretty optimistic person in general, keeping in mind what I’m grateful for in any circumstance helps to keep the negatives away.
Birthday morning workout!
Definitely morning workouts are the best for me! You get to put it out of your program first thing in the morning and you’re full of endorphins that make you feel happy and full of energy to face the day ! I’m on a working trip and using the hotel facilities. Never book a hotel without fitness room 😀 And today is my birthday 💪

Happy birthday! I have to agree about morning workouts. I think the primary reason I’ve been successful is by checking it off the list before I start working - otherwise in the past I kept finding excuses about work not to stop and work out. So far so good!

Smashing Saturday. Day 18
So this morning I hit a huge milestone for myself and feeling pretty good about it. Thanks to Jonah and his support and efforts I have managed to hit the “normal” range on this scale I have that measures multiple things in your body. This also puts me down 20 pounds with Jonah. This challenge does work everyone! We’ve got this!

@Thomas Conroy what great news! Thomas, how far into the challenge are you?
Howdy from Houston
Howdy everyone, I’ve been following Jonah on IG for a while now, and finally jumping back on the workout bandwagon. I’m 60 years young, have T2 diabetes; had carotid artery surgery 10 yrs ago; I have Hyperglyceridemia (without meds chol=700s and trig=5000s). I’m on a whole foods low carb diet, but I struggle w doing work outs. I make time for working for 3 companies, managing a dance foundation, and co-directing a country/line dance performance dance team, but too easily cut working out when it’s the one thing that should be highest priority since it could literally save my life. Jonah’s positive outlook and energy had inspired me to try the 45 day challenge to help me build working out into my daily routine. I’m on day 2 so already I’m 2 days ahead where I have been.

Day 3 workout is checked off - a few sore muscles but stretching sure did help. I think one of the biggest hurdles for me is time: the perception that I don’t have time to work out, but small chunks are doable, and I just tell myself - time to workout now or no time to do anything if I’m dead because I didn’t take the time to take care of me. It’s amazing how well that incentive works lol
