Substack for music?
Hey everyone, I had this idea (and probably saw it mentioned elsewhere as well) that artists might benefit from a dedicate platform like substack, but for music. Is this something people might be interested in or are services like patreon and substack enough already?

I've briefly had a look, so my comments are not based on any use case which others may have. Is it different enough from other popular social media, such as Facebook? Any thoughts on what this has to offer that can't be achieved with current platforms? I'm not having a dig, quite the contrary. Why I ask is that my phone is packed with different apps and adding another woukd have to offer something unique that the others did not.
Happy New Year

MAC M4 Pro mini for music production
Hello. Later this year I am considering purchasing a mac4 mini pro for running Cubase 14 pro. My current PC set up is fine, works very well with limited issues. So why change? I'm looking to separate my pc from most of my music production. I would still use the PC to host samples as it has 128gb memory. My main question is this. Most tests i see on YouTube are stress testing how many audio tracks the M4 pro can playback before errors. However, I imagine this is directly from the M4 with no audio interface. Do people here have experience of using Macs wtlith external audio interfaces and if so, does this free up the MAC to run many more tracks? Any advice would be appreciated. I have never owned a MAC so I'm having to learn afresh.

That's a great goal (s) for 2025. I always seem to get distracted, so another aim is "stay focused" and complete my goals!!
