Let’s get to know each other! Comment below with where you're living, a fun fact about your relationship, and a word or phrase you’ve picked up from your partner’s culture. 😊 I’m Tina, and my husband Nacho and I are currently living in Buenos Aires. We met on Tinder back in 2016 while in Miami, and just a few months later, we got married and started our life together. One fun thing about us is that we mix in words from the places we’ve lived—like saying “potati” (Sweden) instead of potato and “schubschub” (Slovakia) when we’re in a rush. We’ve moved around a lot—from living with roommates in Miami, to a small studio, then spending 1.5 years in my childhood room in Germany, and even living in a van on just 5 square meters! Now, we’re finally somewhat settling in Buenos Aires, it’s never boring!

Hello, I am Maria from Austria, I met my partner Victor (Mexico) in 2019 in Vienna. It started as a Tinder Date and ended up with me visiting Mexico just two month later;). During Corona Lockdown we moved together and since then we are navigating our bicultural life and relationship here. Since Victor was also living in Japan I caught some Japanese phrases too, like „Shouganai“(jap.). He uses „Mahlzeit“ and likes the German animal names like „Waschbär“ or „Kohlmeise“(we always have some coming to our window).
