Y’all, I need a sounding board 😅
My wife and I need a 2nd vehicle that can double as a delivery vehicle for our Cheesecake business. I came up with a crazy idea to buy a Japanese Kei van and get it wrapped for the business (google kei cars, they’re tiny but cool lol). Do yall think it’s a good move or nah? 🤔 Pros: It’s affordable at $7600 (after the wrap it could be 10k all together). It stands out on the road since most people have never seen/heard of them, and it has lots of cargo room for cakes & equipment. It would be a good marketing gimmick for events. Cons: Its slow and does not have rear seatbelts (I can’t transport the kids in it unless I retrofit seatbelts), its righ-hand drive, I’m unsure of the tax implications since it does not meet the 6000lb requirement for work vehicles.
