Doubt clearing - long term
Hey there! I have no experience in coding, and I had doubts if this a good platform for an amateur like me as well? If anyone has better recommendation I will consider that, but please try to think of me like a noob/beginner.

Start with the classroom and work your way through it. You can do the CS50P course from Harvard on Edx. It is free and will help you learn the basics in python. Clear that doubt out of your mind. You found the right place.

My take is think of any 4 space indention as a shell. Anything inside of that shell will be controlled by the line above that is not indented. Anyone else can chime in, I am still learning but that is the way I think of it.
Data Freelancer Profile Website Template
Hi, is someone else already trying to create a webpage using Dave's template (Lesson 5)? I am currently in the process of setting everything up. EDITED: ((my mistake, I just fucked it up ... (I do not have the workflow file .github/workflows/ci.yml So when pushing my svelte-git to my github no actions are triggered.))) In general, would appreciate to hear your questions and insights on this chapter. I will let you know more from my side, once I have come further. **Comment - These are the steps and my understanding of them - Please correct:** 1. Get the data from the zip, unzip it, integrate the folder in VSCode (create workspace) 2. In the terminal of VSCode: Install all the NPM packages (putting them into the zip would have made it too big) 3. In the terminal of VSCode: Test the development server, and "Build", i.e. compile the project; this is Svelte specific because this JS framework works with some compilation to improve the speed of the website 4. In VS Code: commit and push all the changes to Github, create a private repository during the process 5. Create a Vercel account, connect it to Github, create a project with the correct Github repository and publish it 6. Change the Domain, put in the relevant domain in Vercel, edit the DNS records at the Domain hoster My observations: - First huge thanks to Dave and Anna !!!! - Svelte is incredibly fast. I think it was a good choice as a framework. I am now actually interested to learn more about it. I would be curious to learn how Dave made the decision on the template. - The instructions on the web-sheet are not 100% clear, one has to take care to take step 3 from above (npm install) before commiting the changes and creating the repo. It becomes clear when reading the readme. But this was the only small thing. Other than that the documentation is top notch! Has anyone already created a profile for themself?
