Workouts to games
Heyo!!! Had a question for you all! I am noticing that I am ballin out in workouts but the second I step on the court I just blend in w everyone else I do nothing special. I know all that moves I can do and I even do them with defense on me but I just can’t seem to connect the dots between games and workouts I’m missing something. Should I just be scrimmaging more and a lot or is there something else I’m missing?

So before my injury I was leading all my teams, points, steals, rebounds etc. I felt like a contributor who could score at will. After I came back which is 5 months ago now I’m kinda fading into the background meaning not the leading scorer, rebounder, stealer and I am getting frustrated because In workouts I’m improving rapidly on offense and my ability to score but for some reason I can translate it to games. Thank you for taking your time to respond:)

Off training
Hey guys!!! Just reaching out because I had a question that one of you may be able to answer!! Regular season just finished and there is two weeks until club basketball starts! I’m in really great shape right now and will continue to train but there is no conditioning that can really mimick playing that I know of…. Does anyone have any workout/ sprint trainings I can do so I stay in peak shape for these next couple weeks?

This is great! I just started my lifting/agility program yesterday….But I was more looking for xtra conditioning workouts I could incorporate with all my other trainings!

Over the next few weeks, we'll be covering -confidence, -how to have hard conversations, and -how to set "bitty" goals that will help you find *flow* while you play. We're building this thing together, and for each other--I want this to be a safe space for you guys to ask the hard questions! For those of you who weren't able to make the first call where we covered shooting slumps and how to prepare ourselves to work out of them, you can access it here. The recording did not save the screen in the way I'd hoped for--so it is unfortunately just my face the whole time!
