I am a traditional artist who focus on experimentation with depicting different subjects and different ways of depicting them. I also enjoy sticking with realism and drawing things as they appear in real life. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember but I've been drawing seriously for almost 11 years now. I just graduated from the Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities and am excited to tackle life as a young artist.

Aron Demetz is an Italian sculptor known for his deeply evocative, figurative sculptures, which often explore the relationship between humanity and nature. Born in 1972 in the Italian Alps, Demetz works primarily with wood, a material that is central to his artistic expression. His sculptures typically depict human figures, though they are frequently distorted, burned, or scarred, reflecting themes of decay, regeneration, and transformation. Demetz’s work is characterized by the tension between the beauty of the natural wood and the imperfections or damage he introduces. He uses techniques like charring, scraping, and layering to alter the surface, which can evoke both suffering and resilience. His figures often seem fragile, exposed, or raw, but at the same time connected to the natural world and imbued with a sense of healing or renewal. Demetz's art engages with traditional craftsmanship but adds a contemporary, almost existential layer, confronting themes like vulnerability, the passage of time, and the impact of humanity on nature.
