Planets After the Course
3 planets I did today. I kept in mind the slow controlled spray as the can was moving. I think I still need to curve my shadows some more but thats what I do. I tried the patonted Tom Welly Wells One Finger Star Flick but rather quickly went back to my 2 and a half flick. No matter what you learn sometimes you have to throw it out and do what works for you. I will add a tip that I don't think was said, flick your stars from different directions.

@Tom Wells Honestly I felt more comfortable. It felt like, okay Tom said this is the way to do it, this is how I do it, lets go.
Wolf Moon
One of the most favorite paintings I do. It's a customer favorite and I love painting it. It comes out different every time and has a little of just about everything in it from space to stencils, trees, mountains and waterfalls. And texture! Lots of texture

I did via YouTube a time ago and now I'm part of the discord and here. What about you?

Tik Tok I think. I don't know if Casey or Tom was the first I saw but enjoyed both their videos and that their styles are slightly different.

It's great to have a reminder of everything you've learned but have forgotten. I didn't know the specifics of synthetic vs acrylic in the paints. Definitely revisiting the caps video. I just picked up a couple of different ones to try. Actually found the Montana #1 in a local store! The texture video had me thinking of all the ways to make texture. That video could have gone on and on. And the star part...flicking multiple fingers...yeah I do that. I'll try the single finger from now on.
Question
What's the best material (paper, canvas, etc) is best for spray painting?

Like Tom says you can use anything. Posterboard is the best for working on skills and its the easiest to use. Also super cheap. I get mine at the dollar store. Probably not the best quality but it works. It's also easy for people to frame. For my really good paintings I love canvas, but I've painted on old records, glass, cardboard, doors, walls, wood, a metal serving tray, plastic ... if you have the techniques down let your imagination go wild.
