YouTube Transcript to Tana - Advanced Method with Timestamps
We recently posted this video on YouTube: Tana Ai: The Best way to Learn From YouTube Videos In the video, I mentioned a more advanced method to add clickable YouTube timestamps to Tana (Method #3) so that you can use AI to chat with videos. If you're interested in learning how to do this, please COMMENT BELOW 👇or DM me, and I'll let you know once it's ready and how to set it up. ________ Update Oct 19: Sharing the workflow has been tougher than expected, but I've been working on it all week. I'll message those who comment below as soon as it's ready!

Hi Santi, do you have a link to the advanced hack method?
Voice to Text
Is there a way to fix voice to text? My version of TANA produces gobbledegook. I have to rewrite the content every time.

I have edited the title and left the transcription untouched.

Quickly Capturing Thoughts into Tana - Voicenote Ideas
The following is a voice-note I transcribed in Tana, listen to the 2 min audio here 👈🎙️ - Hey, so right now I wanted to kind of share some of the thoughts that usually I would just kind of like record for myself, but right now I thought it'd be interesting to share this - So one of the biggest things that I really always liked about productivity tools is ability to have a simple shortcut, especially on desktop, to capture some idea quickly - A lot of task manager tools have this sort of functionality where we press something like, I don't know, alt space, you might have a little pop-up that as you like, okay, write down your task, a task that I want to do - So I love that feature that would work as a global shortcut that works across my whole computer - Now, Tana doesn't currently have something like that in desktop, but what it does have is Tana Capture, which is a mobile app where you can dictate things that is amazing because you can use voice like I'm doing right now, and it will transcribe everything that you're saying, which is exactly what I'm sharing with you right now - That's what I'm using, and it uses AI in order to transcribe, which is what is giving this high quality transcription rate - So that is a huge, amazing, such a beneficial tool that I absolutely love - And the only thing that I would really like to see Tana develop in the future is having something like this, but as a global shortcut inside of desktop - Because the problem that I have is that as good as the Tana Capture mobile app is, whenever I'm working and inside of my computer, I don't like having my phone with me most of the time - I usually try to put it somewhere far just because it's a massive source of distraction when I'm doing work - But I would like to have a simple shortcut in desktop to be able to quickly either capture a quick voice note - I mean, that could be a really nice workflow - But if not, just writing a quick idea that would go to my Tana inbox without having to open that Tana app, because that's definitely something that Tana can keep improving, which is like the speed at which Tana opens - But even if it's reduced to just a couple of seconds, still, I might rather do something that takes a fraction of a second, just a quick shortcut, write down an idea, boom, close that, done - And I keep working with whatever I'm doing - So a global shortcut like that is one of the biggest things that I would love to see in Tana - And it's just an idea that I thought I would share - For now, Tana Capture on mobile works extremely well - So one other idea that I would have, I mean, if you already have your phone with you close by, I think that's by far the best current workflow - I might see if I figured out some sort of workaround or some sort of almost like a hack to try to develop this kind of system - So if I do, I'll let you know - But I wanted to know if this is a struggle or a thing that you would also like to see - Just to see if it's just me who struggles with this, who would like to have a quick global shortcut, or if this is something that is quite common for other people that, you know, it's kind of a struggle just quickly capturing an idea in Tana without having to pull up the phone or without even having to open the app if it's not currently open - So yeah, let me know what you think - I thought this was an interesting starting point for our conversation - So yeah, let me know what you think.

Hey TANA to activate the smartphone and desktop app would be a great feature. Did you find a hack activate the desktop app?
