$17,066 in March! . I've always been hesitant to share my testimony; I never knew how to convey my experiences. @Michele Oneil , your storytelling training was the skill I needed to gain the confidence to share my struggles over the past three years and prepare to share my life's testimony leading up to this moment. I've never been able to buy my own appliances or car, nor have I contributed to property maintenance or bought cars outright. I was fortunate enough to have my parents and husband provide until my husband's once successful business closed. It's a first for me to have the opportunity to refurbish our pool, replace the pump, buy my dream washing machine, and a new microwave. For the first time, I could afford these things during a time when we needed them most. We've weathered three disasters in the past four years - COVID, serious floods, and looting. We struggled to meet our children's basic needs, from clothing to school fees, let alone their desires. I've never been able to achieve what digital marketing enabled me to, despite my diplomas and businesses. I still need to remind myself that this is real, that I don't have to stress about our next meal or bills. Even when my car's turbo needed fixing, I did it hassle-free. Earning $57,066, equivalent to R1,067,134.20 in our currency, still feels unbelievable. Every time I swipe my card, I remind myself to stay calm because we are floating on our silver lining cloud and there will always be enough from now on! I'm unsure how to adequately thank @Cecilia Jacobs jacobs, my mentor and @Michele Oneil You've empowered me to change the futures of our six beautiful children and the futures of many other families π
