I am an empty nester who is turning 61 in a few weeks and both of my boys are away at college. I live in Middleboro MA with my husband and crazy dog and am retiring in June after working 39 years as a special ed teacher and speech-language pathologist in the public school systems. I have really been focusing on improving my health over the past year so I can truly enjoy the next phase of my life. I am looking forward to retirement but would love to connect with other like-minded women. Anyone live South of Boston or near the Cape?

I am a mom to 4 fabulous grown children with my baby in her final year of college. As many I was a full time mom loving every minute of it all. After my youngest went of to college I put myself back in the full time work force and found a wonderful company to work for. However, I find myself with a void not feeling complete/satisfied. I look forward to making connections with others on this same journey into the next chapter of life.

Hello Everyone! How exciting to claim our own group. Thank you Julie and In Full Force and thank you for including me! My kids are grown… in their 30’s so I’ve been waiting for a way to connect for a while. Hope there are ladies who like to TRAVEL in this group because that’s my favorite thing to do-that and sewing, especially for my 3 grands. I look forward to meeting new friends!

I am a mom to 4 extraordinaries doing their own thing. I have run my own digital marketing comm business for 20+ years and then during Covid, got my Masters (virtually) at Boston University. Loved BU so much that I moved from CT to the Boston area to teach undergrads and grads while still running my firm. While I have a fulfilling career, the move from CT to MA took a hit to my local community where I have been trying to build friendships since arriving, but its hard to do once your kids are grown and gone. Excited to see where this group will evolve to...it's clearly something we are all looking for. Thanks @Julie Fairweather for getting this off the ground!
