It's important for you to do things that you know you are going to suck at - it's a good ego check. It also trains your mind to DO more activities without overthinking about results. I'm still in the process of figuring out when, how, and what to write about. Jerry Seinfeld apparently sits down for two hours to work out a joke. Some comedians say they don't write at all, but I don't buy that b.s. I currently write 3 pages in this journal EVERYDAY. I write about whatever is on my mind at the moment - it's not usually funny. It's a number 2 for the brain so to speak. It usually takes me an hour to complete depending on the ebbs and flows of ideas.
