@Emilee Neubert Thank you for this clarification Emilee
Presenting your ideas
I have not had time to learn sketch up and I’ve made a few mood boards but how is everyone presenting their plan/ideas to clients? I have done everything from a poster board with printed pics to printed photos to mood boards to just screen shots of furniture etc. I’m tired of feeling unprofessional in this area, I need some help with a better plan!

I use a combination of DesignFiles and Canva templates. I'm still learning and experimenting. Design Files is great to create mood boards and concept designs to gain client agreements on specific items. I do however like how Canva presentations provide for a more professional presentation.
Builders share client info
I have connected with a lot of builders recently and they all say that their clients don’t come to them with a designer and the homeowner makes all the selections, even for custom homes. I want to reach out to the homeowners directly to talk about the services I offer and how it helps but has anyone actually asked builders to share their customers with them? Or how do you go about this so it’s not sketchy? Is it acceptable to ask for the homeowner name and phone number so I can connect with them?

Thank you so much for this information and the question! I've been wanting to reach out to builders as well.
Baby Margot 🍼
Hello lovely designers! I apologize I’ve been quiet the last week- baby Margot made her appearance on 11/19/24, so I’ve been soaking it all in and getting rest. We are both healthy and happy. Thank you for all the well wishes 💗
