More research: Renal diet on SEMRUSH get 27,000 searches in 12 months and they are looking for information and brands/services with only .25 competitive density; kidney disease/renal diet 10K-100K on google ads; multiple Facebook groups with high memberships; I found dietitians that have meal planning services for renal disease, packages for renal disease, and memberships. Awareness of chronic kidney disease increases at stage 3b-4 CKD and that is when people become desperate for guidance....they have oftentimes cut out so many foods that they are now becoming malnourished and losing unnecessary weight. based on data I found, high- and medium-level income people have CKD at a prevalence rate of 6% with low-income prevalence being ~12%. I know from my own work that there are people that are willing to pay for answers/guidance. answerthepublic: 6600 searches for kidney diet; 67 questions. @Greg Todd I could do chronic kidney disease as a sub-population of diabetes OR as a standalone. Is this enough data to be able to make that decision or, if I need to do more research, what specifically do I need to look for to validate it as a viable niche? I personally think that it's a valid niche and I just need to start going live on social media and talking about it to draw people to me.
