Hyatt Devaluation March 26th 2024.
Here is your friendly reminder to book those Hyatt stays on points before March 26th 2024! Some Hyatt hotel points prices are increasing in 2-3 days! My parents just locked in a stay for February 2025 at the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall for 4 nights! A $2800 hotel stay for 140k Blue Bank points and zero dollars! Most of the all inclusive resorts are increasing from 30-40k points a night at the lowest to 40-50k points per night. Most of these all inclusive resorts cost $600+ per night. In my parents situation they got 4 nights at 35k a night for February 2025. Booked today on March 23 2024. Compared to the $2800 cash price this is a 2 cents per point value. Which is great! Value can still be had after the price increase but you will get a much better rate for certain properties if you have a trip date in kind for 2024/2025 and you can book now. In just a few days this same stay would cost my parents 20k more points. For example last we just booked the Park Hyatt Zanzibar for 3 nights for March 2025 at 20k points per night. That stay will increase by 5k points per night at the cheapest. We saved 15k points. We stayed at the Thompson Madrid in early 2023 for 15k points a night which we booked in 2022. That property has increased in price last year by 5k points and after March 26th 2024 it increase by 5k points again now costing 25k points a night. There is a saying in the points and miles world. "Earn and Burn!" With constant devaluations year after year it's important to earn these points and get a good value for them while you can. Hyatt hotel stays still remain one of the best and most consistent values for Blue Bank Points even through this devaluation. But keep in mind the rules to the game change every day. Make a plan to earn some points and have a trip in mind to use them on. Another travel phrase I live by is "Book early, and book often!"

Thanks good information
Bilt Rent Day Promo 2k free points.
The first day of the month is rent day! Bilt Rewards always has some sort of crazy promotion going on to help you earn more points. You don't even need to have the Bilt credit card. Signing up for a bilt rewards account is free. No card required. In the past they have featured 75%-150% transfer bonuses to Virgin and Flying Blue on rent day. Today only on rent day link 2 new cards to your Bilt Rewards account and you will be given up to 2,000 bilt points. (1,000 per card) You can then transfer these points out to one of many Bilt transfer partners. Make atleast a 2 cent per point redemption and that's a free $40. If you waited for a possible big transfer bonus of 75% you could stretch your free 2k miles even further. Bilt Rewards also allows you to access a free version of the award search tool pointme. Just be aware that it is limited to bilt transfer partners only and not the full version. Still a useful tool for free Bilt transfer partners include American Airlines, United, Emirates, Flying Blue, Air Canada Aeroplan, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Hawaiian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Iberia, Avianca Lifemiles, World of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy, and IHG. The Bilt credit card has no annual fee. It does not feature a traditional sign up bonus. There is a promotion where the first 5 days after you activate the card you can earn 5x points on everything up to 50k points. So if you have a $10,000 spend coming up and you were planning on opening this card at some point you could earn 50k points. Rent day (The 1st of every month) also means 2x points on everything (except rent), 4x travel, 6x dining. You do need to make 5 transactions a month with your Bilt card to earn the points. If you are a renter you can pay your rent with this card with no fees. Bilt provides an account and a routing number if your landlord does not accept credit cards. There are also data points of earning points by paying your mortgage utilizing the account and routing number. Your results may vary based on your mortgage company.

Business Class Flight To Paris from Houston
$5000+ Business Class flight booked for 50k points and $205. Houston to Paris in the beautiful Air France Business Class. My clients only booked 2 seats. There may still be 3 seats left! This is a great example on how your flexible credit card points and miles can be used for great value. You can transfer Amex, Chase, Capital One, Citi, or Bilt points to the Flying Blue program (Air France/KLM) (and sometimes other sky team alliance partner flights are available) These deals can be found on flying blue from major US hubs to Major Hubs in Europe like Amsterdam, Paris, etc. These deals can get even better if your bank happens to be offering a transfer bonus at the time or if your route has a flying blue promo fare. Promo fares change each month around the 1st of the month. These are one of the most consistent values for flying to Europe in business class on points. Normally business class is 50-70k points one way per person. Cash prices for Business class tickets to Europe from major US hubs is usually $3000-4000 round trip per person. The cash price of these flights is elevated due to this being a last minute trip. 50,000 American Express Points is only worth $500 in the Amex portal at 1 cent per point. But you can see in this example how just 50k points can be used to book a plane ticket worth several thousand dollars.
