Limited Pallete technique
Hazel Soan's method of using a limited palette in watercolor painting offers several efficiency advantages: 1. Color Mixing Simplicity: A limited palette simplifies color mixing, making it easier to achieve harmony and balance in your artwork. You can develop a more intuitive understanding of how colors interact, and create harmoniuos color schemes 2. Faster Decision Making: With fewer colors to choose from, you spend less time deciding which hues to use, allowing for a quicker painting process. 3. Consistency: Using a limited number of colors helps maintain a consistent color scheme throughout your work, creating a cohesive final piece. 4. Enhanced Focus: Fewer colors encourage you to focus on value, composition, and technique rather than getting lost in color choices. 5. Reduced Waste: A limited palette minimizes the likelihood of excess paint and wasted materials, making your practice more economical. 6. Learning Tool: Itโ€™s an excellent way to improve your mixing skills and deepen your understanding of color theory. By embracing a limited palette, you streamline your workflow and enhance your overall painting experience. You must read Hazel Soan's book to improve your technique and create watercolor painting in quick and easy way.

@Rylan Love thanks for accepting my membership in this art community. Zi am a beginer watercolor artist and learning very fast. I love to try our different techniques and styles in water color. I prefer to stick to this medium , my favourite watercolor artist are Joseph Zbuwikc, Alvaro Castagnet , William skip Lawrence, Ron Ranson, David Honkey, ChritoshNiemem , Amit Kapoor, Guin Srikanta... The style which I resonate with is impressionist and of late prefer to be minimalist. I face challanges of overdoing painting and strokes, so nowadays a minimal brushstrokes and limited color palletes is help to overcome this. Hope to learn and evolve in this community!
