BOI Report as non-resident foreigner LLC owner
Hi, this is my first time on this platform and I would like to share my greetings with everyone. I’ve recently started my company as a Single member LLC in Florida using a 3rd party registered agent. I’ve obtained my EIN , formation letter. Opened a bank account with Mercury using my registered agent address. I’m stuck with the BOI report filing as my registered agent mentioned that it’s not possible to file the BOI unless I have a physical address in the US. “ PO Box , Virtual Office not accepted “ As I don’t live in the US I have no idea how to overcome this issue while I’m running out of time. I have already purchased the BOI filing with my agent but they can’t proceed because I didn’t provide an address. In this situation what are my options ? P.S: I have no one in the US to use their address , I know literally no one. but I do have a virtual mailing office also using a 3rd party agency. I’d appreciate any help I’m booked with James for a call on 29th Feb. But if I get my answer I would cancel it to give a chance for other people to talk early.

I used my registered agent’s address to complete mine with 0 issues. Other than the 3rd party articles that says to not use your RA address the instructions in the FinCen website doesn’t specifically say so. Hope you guys get some clarity on this soon though.

@Michał Jóźwiak Bizee, they have it listed as both a physical address and a registered agent address. Although I never inquired before using the address.
What are you struggling with right now?
I have clients in every niche who are experts. I am exploring the idea of collaborating with them to create exclusive content for this group. Let me know here what would be most valuable for you right now. Also look at other responses and give a like if you are interested in that too - as we'll be starting with the most popular topics

@Feriel Charfeddine completed mine without issue. I used the address used to register the business which was a RA address

@Feriel Charfeddine I see what you mean. I think you should create a standalone post in the group with this query as it would be a concerning matter.
Formal Introduction
Hi everyone just to formally introduce myself my name is Jovene (@sansa_sweets) and I’m a creative in the process of starting my e commerce (brand) store from the Caribbean. My biggest strength is that I’m very keen to detail but that sometimes proves to be a disadvantage where I tend to get caught up in those very details. Personally I don’t post much; I tend to use social media for more edification purposes than entertainment. I hope to learn as much as I can from both the experiences and knowledge of others while I’m here.

Virtual US Adress Necessary for LLC Registration as Non US Resident ?
Hey Guys , all incorporation services offer a virtual mail adress for a monthly Fee (Postbox) as a service BUT.....is it really necessary to have one to register the LLC or to apply for the EIN ??? i´m not certain about that. since all the business communication with the authoroties is handled by the registered Agent through his Adress @James Baker would be great if you can enlighten this point to us. thank you 🙏

@Muzaffer Güleç Your registered agent address is supposed to be meant to receive legal and official documents/ communications. Your virtual address on the other hand used as a means of remaining anonymous but still being able to receive mail. @James Baker can confirm but I don’t believe it best to mix the two. You’re also supposed to fill out a USPS 1583 Form that gives consent for a 3rd party to open, scan and upload your mail (for your review).
