Milestones & Challenges
Dear people of the garden, Each one of us is following their own unique path towards our destination. The fact that the destination is different for each individual human being, makes us even more unique. Once you reached a certain destination you can be happy being in that place or you can travel further to a following destination. Each path has both milestones and challenges. A milestone is an encounter that brings us positive emotions. One of achievement and fullfillement showing you're on the right path. A challenge is an encounter that is able to bring up negative emotions. One of doubt and fear able to bring confusion on your path. We encounter both on our journey. I am curious if you identified those milestones or challenges and have the courage to share them with us, as I believe there is something special about sharing. Sharing with others. We thrive on genuine connections and stories. I dare you to share something about your path in the comments. I would like to lead by example and share a personal milestone. So long I have not felt comfortable being an asian in the Netherlands confused by my adoption and my dutchkorean identity. Now, on age 24 I can finally say I embraced this aspect of my life and I am proud of my unique identity. How I achieved this will be a little too big for this article :P, just wanted to share this important milestone for me. So, what is your milestone or challenge? Let me know something about your path :). Greets, Joo Sun

@Jia Ruan Let's gooo!!!
Artificial Intelligence is here to take over.
Yesterday I watched the movie burnt. I wanted to dissect the movie into the hero's journey. I couldn't find anything online. I decided to ask Artificial Intelligence. The answer was MIND-BLOWING. It's so powerful. Test things out here. beta.openai.com/playground I am not affiliated with them at all. I just wanted to share it with you to give you an unfair advantage. The world doesn't know about these things yet. It's too powerful. Play with it. PS. I even asked how I could evangelize and help people to turn to Jesus. The AI answered that you can't change beliefs unless people want it themselves. You can inspire them and lead by example and pray for them. There is nothing more that you can do. Woah... what an answer.

Wow. Just tested it, mind blowing. This will unravel a whole new road in the information age. How will this effect the jobs of a copywriter?
Morning Routine
Recently I struggled a lot with getting up in the morning, I even found it difficult to wake up at 10 o'clock. And I still felt very tired. Till I found my accountability partner, I started waking up at 8. Have a call in the morning and get things done. Starting to eat a healthy diet and to get my life in order. Now I wake up every morning at 6 AM consistently to do my morning routine: Prayer/Meditation Proclamation/Affirmation Short Morning Workout Reading a book Journaling What is your morning routine?

All hours in the morning are free hours before your day even starts. I read Ikigai which described that walking in the morning is very good for the start up of your body. So I tried it once at 6. I can imagine that being nice in the mountains in Japan. But that wasn't the case in Utrecht, still dark, rainy and sober xD.
The importance of storytelling wherever, whenever!
A good start is half the work. Right?! I would like to provide some tips on the art of storytelling. Whatever your passion, business, research, plan, project or post is, make sure it is the most passionate and beautiful story there is. I recognize in the business world that not all people are able to convey their story in a good manner. Often stories are difficult to follow, information is spread out here and there and people are unclear and difficult to follow, which is able to make the audience sceptical on the information shared. Beneath some tips on the art of storytelling. Do I have your attention? Yes? 3 2 1 GO! 😁 - Go to the drawing table! Formulate the purpose of the message you would like to convey. Do you want to inform? activate? convince? entertain? inspire? When you have this clear it is easier to decide on the structure of your post. (in my case I would like to inform and the message would be: tips to share a good story!) - Often people overshare all kind of information that is not needed for the audience. Maybe they already know parts? In the culinary world they often say, less is more. I also think that is the case in communicating. (I am such a hypocrite writing this long message right?!😋) - To make sure you are concise and efficient in the information you share, connect your argument and evidence to your main message. Herewith an example: message: everyone should read the bible! argument: the bible is the best book to find god. evidence: I found god through the bible. (I make no differentiation between subjective and objective statements, because that is not relevant to my point of the story) - To make it a little easier for you here is a concrete tip you can implement. ask the: SO WHAT?! question on every piece information shared. If you cannot answer it phrase it differently or skip it because chances are high it is irrelivant. - Make the story yours and personal. people like that! Feel inspired by others but make information your own by adding unique characteristics of you as person. (I attempt this through my natural enthousiasm, high energy)

Little Anecdote
Next, I will tell you a little anecdote so you can learn from my mistakes. I am a dancer and years ago I used to work in an urban dance company. With this group, we were working on a very important TV show called NBC World of Dance, recorded in LA. The show was very important because it was produced by Jennifer Lopez, plus other celebrities like Ne-Yo, Dereck Hough, and others were involved. The pressure was high, time was short, and we had to make an impeccable impression. For 4,5 months we were training and rehearsing a lot. Without exaggeration, there were days when we spent 12 hours in the studio. The quality of the shows had to be almost perfect. During the project, it was normal to sleep 4 hours, and even on the night before the final we slept 2.5 hours. We were constantly traveling between Europe and the USA and every time we were in Europe we slept during the day and trained at night so that the jetlag would not affect us. In short, we worked very hard... The prize in case of winning was a million dollars and according to the contract of the television station each participant would have a certain percentage, not to give exact numbers let's say that it was 10% each member, we were 9 members Altogether so it was pretty fair. However by the time we got to the semi-finals there was a plot twist. We had an early morning rehearsal on stage however the person in charge of the company's finances told us to meet her in her hotel room before going to the bus to the studios. I thought that this was just a motivational talk, but when we entered the room, some multi-page contracts were on the table waiting for us, without prior notice. The joke of the whole contract is that in case of winning each member will have 5% of the prize and we couldn't get off the room without signing. Despite not agreeing and being very unhappy, seeing that most of the ensemble did it without arguing, it put me in a very uncomfortable situation since if we were late for rehearsal with the celebrity team I would be responsible for it, so I signed.

Thanks for sharing your story Jaime. What I find so difficult to hear is that people embitter through negative experience losing hope. People are most hurt in deep found connections where trust is broken. Somebody's greed is able to pain the surroundings. Be cautious but trust in the good people, they really are there! If you follow the right path/course with sincere intentions they will come, I am sure. Goodluck in your journey.
