Second go at Shogun Method (Oh crap! He's got a 330k list)!
Ok. From the sublime to the ridiculous maybe. My first go was a reasonable success with a deal done with an owner of a 3k list of subscribers where a 3 time blast cost me just $50. On my second go, with a different list owner, I have sent out the first email enquiring if he would be open to someone sponsoring the newsletter (worded in the special Shogun Method way) and his response was a simple "Tell me more". So I responded as per the Shogun method again and asked him basically what kind of price would work for him on a test like this and he came back with... "Hi Roy, This can go out to over 330k people for $10k USD (paid upfront)." Wow! So, I'm a bit stumped at that. $10k is obviously way too big for a test and a lot more than I'd want to spend right out of the gate, so.. Help @Travis Sago! How the heck should I respond? Thanks in advance.

@Roy Carter Hey Roy - A big thumbs up for getting out there, but...this sounds like another 'no' on the path to another 'yes' (with a different list). One thing about 'segments' of a list - and I learned this from Gary Halbert 30 years ago - is that the test segment can be quite a bit different (better response) than the general list. List owners will, if they can, give you a 'test' with a segment that's proven to be more responsive for some reason (could be a lot of reasons). For example, with direct mail lists, certain zip codes pay better - as Halbert said, zip codes pay better from West to East (declining going East), generally, because Eastern cities (like New York) have more built-in sales resistance. With an email list, this isn't likely to come up, but still...a test segment of any list could give false indications. So be careful if you do a test that seems to pay just well enough, since the next run may fall short.

@Roy Carter How about a switcheroo - where you go full-Ronin and ask to send a campaign (with offer) to his list, where you get a percentage? If so, you might be able to send the traffic to a page where you could capture the emails (and end up with your own list!). He has no real risk, since you only get paid after money is generated.
The Shogun Method - Deal done from very first email sent!
So I sent my first Shogun Method email out to a list owner and here we are with the first deal done! He only has a small list of 3,000, but after his first reply asking about how much I was prepared to pay, I used (virtually copy and pasted) the 2nd email template from the Shogun Method to reply and we have a deal at the price HE suggested. 3 separate ads in his weekly newsletter. Total cost for 3 ads to his 3k subscribers?... $50 bucks! Hmmm. Reckon I might use the Shogun Method a LOT more! Thanks @Travis Sago

@Roy Carter Hey Roy - Just now finding this thread, but better late than never. Great work man!
Does anyone know of a good printer for card decks?
I'm creating a card deck for Japanese Candlestick formations that can be used to predict stock price action, etc.

Help is needed, possible licenses, products, jvs
I know a person who is a YouTuber, a math teacher, and has 1 million+ followers. If I propose a partnership for more profits, what kind of services, or products can I jv for him?

@Ashutosh Vyas What's the biggest value that you could bring him? How about building out an email list and working with it? Very few YouTooobers have, or even think about, building an actual email list and working it daily. But of course, this is where the money comes from.
