Hello Everyone. Jumping into the comments based on Miguel's prompt and thought I would share. For my particular situation, I am using the drop in the market to collect capital losses for tax purposes. I sell ("Switch" on the Stack platform) my WBTC & WETH and immediately buy it back. There is no "wash sale" rule for crypto (unlike stocks where you are unable to do the same type of transaction to capture capital losses). NOTE: I am not a certified financial or tax professional. With that being said, I've been talking with several tax lawyers over the past 12 months about Stack and how I plan to use it for my specific situation and this is a well-know strategy... I plan on using these capital losses against any capital gains that I have in 2024, which will reduce the amount of potential taxes that I will owe. Hope you all find the feedback useful...
