What does forgiveness mean to you?
This past Monday in our Monday Morning PJ Mindset Study Group, we explored a profound lesson on Forgiveness—a powerful practice that can transform how we live and thrive. Forgiveness is not about condoning bad behaviour or admitting defeat; it’s about freeing ourselves from the toxic weight of resentment and reclaiming our peace of mind. ✨ Bob Proctor’s Take on Forgiveness ✨ In a short video, Bob Proctor explains that while we can’t control others’ actions, we have full responsibility for how we respond. Life is full of challenges, and people often act out of their own wounds. Forgiveness becomes our way to release negativity, process emotions, and allow harmony and abundance to flow back into our lives. Proctor uses the metaphor of a septic system: just as waste must flow to avoid blockages, we must release harmful emotions like anger and blame. To be honest, I am wrestling with Bob Proctor's idea that "They're not trying to hurt you, there's something bothering them." I believe that people acting in their karmic, carnal nature do have the capacity to be malicious. I do agree though that all you can do is peacefully detach from this demonic/dark/dense (however you'd like to describe it) energy & find forgiveness. Unforgiveness wreaks physiologic havoc on the human vessel, increasing cortisol production; thereby, slowing down bloodflow to organs that would not be deemed essential for a fight or flight situation. Forgiveness is ultimately for our own health & well-being.
