Hey all, a close friend @Joe DeFilippo is a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. He also runs a company helping QA Engineers find jobs. I thought maybe he might be helpful to someone here - if you have any questions for him, shoot!
@Ivan Fernandez Garcia Great questions, Ivan, and my pleasure! As far as toolset, it varies a lot depending on the application(s) under test and the organization. See the image attached... this is my current "stack" that I use at my "real" (non-Skool) job at CarMax! The most common mistake I see developers make is not seeking clarity on requirements or consulting with QA prior to starting to code. Oftentimes they want to jump right into code and don't consider all the edge cases/ways the system could break. TDD and a shift-left testing culture can help in these teams.
