Super Electric Breaker
Here is some of the Illustration rare and Special Illustration rare Pokémon cards from Super Electric Breaker set in Japanese. Have really nice arts, but about Pikachu SAR card i think they could make an amazing card, but the illustration is quite similar to the full art. In other way, Milotic and Hydragon SAR looks really good. Milotic SAR can match with Feebas AR card and have a full illustration. - In next message there are the SAR cards because can't upload over 10 files in the post.

Great deal! Might be one of the last opportunities to buy Lost Origin below €3.50 a pack
Hi!
Hi all, I'm Matthew. I'm originally from Indonesia but I live in the Netherlands now. Pokemon has always been a big part of my childhood. I opened my first Pokémon pack back when I was about 10 years old and I pulled a holo pikachu card and ever since it's been a favorite card of mine. I recently started collecting again in February because of the Grey Felt Hat Pikachu though I mainly just collect whatever full art or illustration rare cards I think look nice. I'm also currently holding into some sealed products for investments hoping to sell them for much more in the future. Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to this community Matthew! Great to have you here. Have you checked whether that Pikachu on the photo is real? It looks a bit off to me, but still a cool story behind that card. It probably has some emotional value.

@Matthew Nicholas Tandean The font looks off, that what makes me think it’s fake.
maxCondition
Hey! I've watched the videos on your (Jesse) great sheet, and have a question: do you have a hack to enter a maximum card condition? If I'm not mistaken the sheet only really works if your card is bought in good condition, because Cardmarket only seems to allow a minimum condition. So if I've bought a played card for an average played price, the sheet will gather the average price between conditions 'played' and 'mint', and I will def be shown a loss on investment. Help! :)

@Jesse Kroon it’s a pity that Cardmarket doesn’t adjust price data based on conditions. That would be a nice adjustment. I recently got really lucky and won a Blaine’s Charizard (English) during a YouTube livestream of a rip & shipper. ~ excellent condition, so would also like to track prices like for different conditions.

@Jesse Kroon I also dislike that they do maintenance every other week during daytime, which makes the platform unavailable for an entire day. I should actually say “won” the Blaine’s Charizard, because I spent $10 for it. There’s a rip & shipper in the US called Royalty Pokemon Gaming on YouTube. On the 6th of March I ordered 2 vintage pull box pulls for $10 and actually managed to get the chase. Lost Origin sleeved boosters still undervalued?
If you’ve been following Sword & Shield booster box prices, you have likely noticed that prices are going up across the board. Here are the current prices of some of the SWSH booster boxes on Cardmarket: - Evolving Skies: €580 - Fusion Strike: €150 - Brilliant Stars: €163 - Lost Origin: €160 - Silver Tempest: €120 Prices are still climbing and many SWSH era booster boxes are already out of print. I expect this trend to continue, as we are already see alt arts like Gengar VMAX grow in price. I think Lost Origin is at a neat price point at the moment. The Giratina alt art will singlehandedly carry that set and I expect booster boxes to grow to €250-€300 within the next 2-3 years (not financial advice 😉). Booster boxes will always be king, but I want to bring the LO sleeved boosters to your attention. I picked up a sealed case of 24 LO sleeved boosters for €92 including shipping today. If you break that down, it comes down to €3,84 per pack. While sleeved boosters are not guaranteed an alt art, it’s quite a sweet deal for Sword & Shield booster packs that can contain one of the most desirable chase cards from the era. It’s also €0,60 cheaper per booster than when you buy a booster box. Sleeved booster cases from other sets (Evolving Skies, Fusion Strike, Brilliant Stars) are already €100+. Do you think it’s a good deal? Or would you stay away from sleeved boosters? Let me know 👇

@Jesse Kroon I don’t think there are hit guarantees on sleeved booster packs. I got my case of sleeved boosters last Thursday. Unfortunately the seal was already broken before I got it. They basically cut the ‘stop sign’ tape and taped their own tape over it. They also didn’t ship the case in another box. I do agree that booster boxes are king in this hobby, especially because many sealed collectors specifically want to display them. I’m just keeping the sleeved boosters and will probably start selling them once they cross €10 per pack in 2-3 years.

@Natalia C. I agree that many modern boxes are expensive, but there is serious demand for them. Evolving Skies is arguably the best set from the last 5 years. Lots of depth to that set in terms of high value cards (e.g. Moonbreon, alt eeveelutions, alt Rayquaza, alt Dragonite). Yes, pull rates are tough and boxes are similarly prized to the chase card in the set. However, you also need to factor in the fact that a) this is a collectibles hobby that people like to spend money on, b) booster boxes have become a collectible on its own, with many people now collecting sealed displays, c) Moonbreon is THE chase card from Sword and Shield, and d) a lot of new collectors got in during COVID and will look back fondly at the Sword and Shield era. All in all I think the market speaks and the prices make sense. But I also have an Evolving Skies booster box so I can’t say.
