Skool... But Sexier? 💭
@Sam Ovens I may be way out of line here for the unsolicited interface tips... 🙈 But couldn't help myself! I'm Pascale, i'm in branding... Hence the strong attention to detail for good design! (Previously worked with brands like L'Oreal, Jlo Fragrances, The White Company, Ralph Lauren, etc... so like to think I can comment in this area ☺️) The functionality of Skool is amazing, and i'm thinking of moving my community over to this platform for this reason. However, I can't help but feel like the look, feel and user experience could be elevated with a few minor tweaks, that still keeps the integrity of the overall platform. ✨ Perhaps just a few thinks to consider in the future for the platform! 🤍 - An option for branded headers in each section (maybe an option to switch on and off for those that don't want or need it?) - A branded 'highlight' colour which then populates across your page... (kind of like Facebook pages) so it comes through in the pinned post banner, and in buttons, etc... - Making the header less busy, by adding a left menu bar, that lists all the chats... so it's closer to the use of a Discord platform, and no need for an added 'more/hide' button - and encourages more community engagement in the right areas. - This would allow for a space at the top left for a branded logo, to allow for an added area for brand recognition (particularly if your community name is different to your business name) - An option to switch communities in the bottom left corner. - Buttons added to the course section (in our accent colour) to make it feel more 'on brand' - A slightly more refined filter system for the community chat area, so it's less busy. - Bigger images for the post section for more impact - and to help the platform feel more dynamic and visual. - I also think it would be good if we had the option to rename the pages... for example, I personally don't like the word 'classroom' for the content area. It would be better to say 'content' maybe? Or at least have the option to change it. - I also think the events section could do with being the 'list' version on view first... so it's more visual and you only see images of the events coming up next.

You just made Skool look like discord, what makes Skool unique is how easy and organized everything is. Respectfully it looks nice but looking at it reminds me of looking at discord communities, just clutterness, not knowing where to navigate as a first timer, and lots of words.

Let us leave our archived groups
Some of us entered Skool and created groups we couldn’t afford so we ended up archiving them, whether it was from the Skool games or testing out stuff, but we can’t leave them and it’s just a big fat nuisance now! Please let us leave our archived communities!

@Adithyan Rj what’s up bro😂
Really confused about this part of Skool
The number one issue, is onboarding members and friction. Right now the most effective strategy is free community (offer value) to paid (trust and human nature of reciprocity). But get member into a free private community is the best option first for most. So why is Skool making this part so darn hard and have to do use this integration, and Zapier that and create your own onboarding questions and forms, and blah blah blah to automate enroll approval? Have the name/email questionnaire (which skool already have), a capcha, and ppl join with auto approve to the free community, done. You can export the emails, and if you want more info/sophisticated funnel you can still use zapier and hubspot or w/e. Why is there is not an option to "auto approve, once they made an Skool account, answered the join group questions set by the admin, and completed a captcha"?? Am I missing something? is Zapier partnering with Skool? Spam at this point is least of the concern for anyone join from the above method and at the current growth number. It's literally the most common question ppl ask and it makes no sense to not have a simple option built into auto approve ppl who made account, answered the question, and completed a captcha to join the group.

Think of it as market research brother, it’s valuable. You’re literally getting the answers for your community with those questions.
