Zombie exposed mouth
I was at a face painting party earlier in the day dressed as a fairy princess then decided to make it a fairy princess nightmare. I tried the exposed mouth tutorial for the first time. I didn’t have any fake teeth so tried false nails. Would love to know where to get the flat fake teeth from, as not quite sure I pulled it off with the nails. Also need some of that stretchy blood, it looks so good!

Ah the winter bugs hitting your hemisphere 😔. We had a rough winter in the southern hemisphere, the flu this year was brutal!! Hopefully you’re on the mend soon. I’ve lost a bit of my SFX mojo after the 31 days of Halloween. And have so many face painting bookings for birthdays and Xmas that I’m in my more pretty practicing zone atm. But I just got a bunch of SFX supplies through so I really want to try another look soon but don’t know what. Maybe I’ll try the zombie look from the course. Photo of my pretty face paintings since it’s all I’ve done lately 😊

Happy Halloween
I tried a torn skin zombie look using liquid latex, tissues and Cotton wool. Wish I’d peeled it more to get some hanging skin but was being too cautious and also cut too much off rather than tearing. Pretty happy with my first attempt though, 2 months into my SFX journey. Also first time wearing a contact lens in my life, I had to get my neighbour to put it in for me 🤣 Waiting for more supplies from Mehron but then I’m so keen to have another play at some new looks.

Love your costume. I went for a zombie look first time using latex with tissue and cotton wool and wearing a contact lens (I had to get my neighbour to put it in 😅)

Sorry it’s 7am here in New Zealand and I’m in morning mum mode. I hope to be able to watch a replay and attend the next one. I’m trying a peeling skin zombie with latex and tissue today for Halloween so any tips welcomed if you’re still looking for questions 🙏
