8dio Sale: Is it worth getting their choir bundle etc?
Hello Everybody, I am interested in buying some products from 8dio to add to my collection due to their really affordable prices and I wouldn’t mind adding some more to the pot for my current studies and future productions. My starting styles of interest is the hybrid-Cinematic trailer music realm and film scoring. When it comes to choir, I know that Alex highly recommended libraries like Audio Imperia Chorus, Performances Samples Oceania and, Strezov Sampling Stormchoir, but until they go on sale in the future maybe for Black Friday, I could get 8dio all choir bundle for $119 with the current sale. Also, the choir’s I do have is Heavyocity Vocalise and Native Instruments Choir Omnia and some miscellaneous free etc. I am waiting to see future deals like at the end of the year for products like Audio Imperia etc. for drums-percussion and I do own like Heavyocity D1 and D2, Keep-forest, but due to the affordable deal again at 8dio, do you think I should also nab from 8dio for layering purposes? I am interested in possibly getting the Epic solo and Ensemble Taikos, which come out to $11.20 each with bulk buying and Epic Toms Ensemble and Dhol etc., Epic Toms Ensemble $22, epic frame drum ensemble $11.20. Just for food for thought for me, what do you think of any of there orchestral stuff and Soundpaint plugins and interface. I am also eyeing their Epic Taikos 2.0 that just came out not too long ago. Thank you everyone for your help and assistance to a beginner. Produce on!!!! Jeff

@Sean Walsh As just starting out with them I still have to learn their tools fully, but from experimenting with my inexperienced self 😆 I did the best I can to blend them with the instruments etc. It appeared to my ears that they were sounding good, but to somebody else maybe they would say otherwise. Who knows. Overall, I do like 8Dio so far and really like their pricing.

Collecting Feedback for "Mockup Craft"
Hey beautiful artists! I am collecting feedback for my new course that goes under the name "Mockup Craft" If you have a few seconds, I would love to know about what topics you would like to have covered. Some of you already provided me with some valuable feedback but I just want to make sure to cover as much stuff as possible that YOU want and need, rather than me releasing some course I think serves you well. So, to sum it up again. My goal is to build a huge course that covers everything about: - DAW (preparing a session, templates, shortcuts, other essentials) - MIDI (CC, Velocity, etc.) - Sample Libs - Ideas & Inspiration - Mixing & Mastering - Writing a track (Starting, Finalizing, Workflow) What else would you like to see? Just let it flow! :) When will this course be released? Mockup Craft has already been released as an early access course. Meaning, as a gift to join early, you get it a lot cheaper than the final price. In return, content will be available over a period of the next few weeks. PLUS, if you have feedback about what you are missing, I can react and record and optimize new videos. Audio Artist Rise Program Members will get it for free. The early access price is 49 USD. Final price will definitely be above 249/299 USD because I am aiming to create my biggest course covering everything you need to write compelling and solid music.

@Peter Buick Hey Peter, click the link named Classroom above. That's where I paid. Look for Mockup Craft.
1000?! Yes, we made it! Thank you all!
Hey guys, first of all, I have been on the road for the last couple of days so there was bit of radio silence from my end and I am sorry about that. However, I am back in the studio ready to rumble. 🚀 Now, THANK YOU!! 🥳🥳🥳 We made it to 1000 members! In fact we are already on the way to hit 1100 :) This all wouldn't have been possible without you guys, so thank you so much! I am still thinking about the best way on how to celebrate this, so if you have any ideas let me know 👇 Now, what's the plan for the next weeks? I am currently in the concept of, finally, releasing a new course that will dedicated to everything regarding creating mockups. Basic stuff such as dynamics, CC commands, music theory, most instrument categories (orchestral, choirs, rock, drums, hybrid stuff, synths, basic audio recording), DAW settings and tips, how to finish tracks, my personal approach, how to work efficient, etc. I am aiming towards building my biggest course module so far to get you generally going with everything around creating solid mockups and tracks. ... and yes, if you are an Audio Artist Rise Member, you will get access to it for free! For everyone else interested in this course only, I would again introduce the course with an early access offer. Meaning, the course will be built throughout the next weeks, but in return you get in for just a fraction of the price and be locked in, no matter the final price. So, thanks so much again for all your support and let me know what you think?

Realistic Panning Plugin
Hey there! I got an advice to use realistic panning plugins like Vienna MIR to make the sound more real. Is anyone of you using it, is it worth the money? Are those kind of plugins really necessary for a realistic sound? And does anyone use an alternative, beacuse 750 Bucks for a panning plugin are atm too much to spend for me.

Cinematic Music: Full Breakdown or Step-by-Step tracks?
Hi beautiful artists and hello to you Cinematic Music Course students. To the latter, this post is for you. As you can see, theres a step-by-step track creation module for an epic track in the course to show you a basic method for writing. Now, my plan was next to begin work writing fully produced tracks and then thoroughly breaking down for you in each of the 4 styles (Epic, Modern Orchestral, Film/Romance/Emotional and Golden-Age Cinema music style; similar to the way Alex does it in his trailer course with the Chaos Theory tracks). However, as I was planning for this, a question came to mind: Do you prefer the breakdown-walkthrough method (which takes longer to make but allows me to write far more polished professional level tracks such as the ones I make for my clients)? Or, do you prefer the step-by-step, build-from scratch method for each style (which is faster, but less polished as I would never send music that I made in 2 or 3 hours to a client unless I was on some extremely tight deadline)? In short: Breakdown-Walkthrough Method will help you peer into a fully built and produced track, but without the step by step process of seeing how it was built (I´ll still break it down part by part though, of course). Step-by-step will show you the process of writing in each style on the fly, but the resulting track will serve more of a demonstration process. What do you prefer? Eager to hear your thoughts!
