📚 Welcome to the Drone Certification (Part 107) / Regulations! 📚
This space is for anyone seeking their FAA Part 107 certification or looking to deepen their understanding of drone regulations. If you want to become a certified remote pilot in the U.S. and legally fly drones for commercial purposes, this is the category for you! 🚁 What is Part 107? The Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 107 certification is a requirement from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for anyone looking to fly drones commercially in the United States. This includes activities like aerial photography, real estate videos, infrastructure inspections, and even flying drones for agricultural purposes. 📋 When Do You Need Part 107? You’ll need the Part 107 certification if: - Your drone weighs between LESS THAN 55 lbs. - You plan to fly drones for any commercial or professional purpose. This includes being compensated non-monetary or if you plan to post on social media where monetization can occur. - You are providing drone services or footage for any form of compensation. - Recreational flying under Part 101 is excluded from this, but even hobbyists are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the rules! ✅ Part 107 Certification Requirements To obtain your Part 107 certification, you must: 1. Be at least 16 years old (you may sit for the exam at age 14). 2. Be able to read, write, and speak English. 3. Be in a physical and mental condition to safely fly a drone. 4. Pass the FAA Part 107 knowledge test at an FAA-approved testing center. The test covers important topics like airspace regulations, weather, drone operation, and safety protocols. 💬 Dive Into Drone Regulations & Discussions This is also a space for those looking to better understand and discuss FAA drone regulations. Regulations can evolve, and there are often specific rules regarding airspace, no-fly zones, and flight restrictions that every remote pilot should know. Feel free to ask questions, share insights, or post updates on drone laws. 📢 How to Engage Here:

At the ground level, beginning to absorb the Part 107 study knowledge. Quick initial question, assuming that as FAA guidelines and rules evolve, how often must you recertify Part 107?

Salutations Drone Academy Group Members. I'm Jared Leazer, a long-time Plaster Journeyman. Additionally, I'm a 4th year Mech—engineering student. Earning my degree on the life installment plan, in my case, slow and steady wins the race. Ultimately, my career will focus on the aviation industry. I've owned three no-frills aerial vehicles, two of which were official science-fiction franchise toys. A third, larger, and slightly more sophisticated fixer-upper, which I intend to repair and achieve flight status. I flew the toy drones on several occasions, but regrettably, my overall drone experience is still limited. I've been impressed to observe the progression of drone technology over the years gaining ever-evolving capabilities, Their application potential for these vehicles has barely been realized, so I can see the practical need to participate in this group if even to only fly as a hobby enthusiast. I'm proud to have been invited to join this group by my long-time friend and kindred spirit, Sean Burgundy! I look forward to reaching new heights under the tender tutelage of Quantum Dynamics. Godspeed to all the group members in achieving your UAV academic goals. In regards to superheroes, I'm a huge Star Trek fan so Capt Kirk by default is my favorite Hero. I know he doesn't have special powers, excluding of course his seductive charm and command charisma. Technically he doesn't qualify as "super" but neither does Tony. Stark. Intelligent as they may be, both men are plain simple humans. It just so happens that they each are surrounded by fantastical technology. Alright, enough of my manuscript. Happy Flying!

Good evening, netizens! I'm Sean Burgundy (definitely not Ron Burgundy's better-looking cousin twice removed), here with Droney McDroneFace and Bungy Burgundy, our flying bearded dragon who smells like 🧴📚 leather-bound books and rich mahogany. 🐉💡 Fun fact: Bungy once ate an entire wheel of cheese—and, much like our students, he CRUSHED it! 🧀💥 At Quantum Dynamics, we take drone training seriously—well, mostly. With a 99.9% first-time pass rate in our 2-day in-person course, we’re basically the Anchormen of drone piloting! 🎤🚁 But NOW, thanks to our friends Alex Hermosi and Sam Ovens, you can learn online from the comfort of your own home—no pants required! 🛋️👖 (We won’t judge 😉). 🧐 What’s the FAA Part 107? Want to fly drones commercially in the U.S.? 🇺🇸 You’ll need the FAA’s Part 107 certification! Our course preps you for the exam, covering airspace rules, safety procedures, and more. ✅ To qualify, you must be: 🧑‍🎓 At least 16 years old (may sit for exam at 14), 📚 Able to read, speak, and understand English ✅ Pass a TSA background check Ready to soar? 🚀 🥃 So, grab a glass of scotch (pro tip: drink responsibly AFTER flying), and join us on Skool while it’s still free! FAA Part 107 certification will soon be just a few clicks away—soon you’ll be flying higher than your neighbors' Wi-Fi signal. 📡💨 👉 Join now: Skool.com/quantumdynamics 👉 Learn more-ish: www.quantumdynamics.co And remember, stay classy and outfly the competition! ✌️ #QuantumDynamics #DroneAcademy #StayClassy #NotRonBurgundy #DroneLife #Part107 #GameOfDrones #BungyBurgundy #BeardedDragonPilot #FAA
