📢 REAL TALK ABOUT RESELLING & DOING HARD THINGS 💪
Y'all, let's get honest about this reselling journey for a minute... 👇 It's not always the pretty highlight reel you see on social! 🎥 When I started 3 years ago after losing my job and our house burning down, I learned QUICK that this business is WAY harder than it looks! 😅 But here's the truth: The hard seasons don't last forever! 🌅 What changed the game for me? 🎯 • Stopped looking for "hacks" and shortcuts • Started working harder on MYSELF than my business • Created actual systems and schedules • Got crystal clear on my goals • Focused on becoming the best sourcer I could be • Pushed past those limiting beliefs! 📚 Real talk: If you're struggling to list 10 items or hit consistent sales, I've been there! 💯 But with practice, what used to take 4 hours now takes 1. What seemed impossible becomes routine. 🔄 Tips that took me from struggling to $450-650 daily sales: 📈 • Track your metrics • Take walks to clear your mind • Focus on high sell-through items • Stop comparing your Day 1 to someone's Year 3 • Keep learning and growing! 📱 Remember: This business is more competitive than 5-10 years ago, but that just means we gotta level up! 🆙 You're capable of WAY more than you think! 🚀 The person who pushes through these hard seasons is the one who succeeds. 💪 Drop a ❤️ if you needed this reminder today! #reselling #resellercommunity #sidehustle #entrepreneurship #motivation #ebayreseller #thrifting #sourcing #smallbusiness #growthmindset

❤️ Thank you so much for this! And all the other recent emails you've been sending. Things have been a bit tough this past week for our family. Not sure what the future may bring but I'm determined to continue pushing hard on our reselling business.
Ralph Lauren differences
Can anyone help explain to me the difference between Lauren Ralph Lauren and Polo Ralph Lauren and Ralph Lauren? I feel like there are so many variances I'm not entirely clear what the differences are. Are each of these considered their own brand under the umbrella of Ralph Lauren? Does one tend to be more sought after (higher STR) then others on Ebay? Thanks so much!

Amazing info @Beau Johnson . Thank you so much! We have a lot of different Ralph Lauren clothes in the stores where I'm at so I've been trying to learn which ones are best to target 😊
Photo orientation
Came home from sourcing this afternoon to find my daughter in the basement at our new photo station taking some Ebay photos. haha Love it! Anyway...wondering if it matters if photos are in portrait or landscape for Ebay?

Vintage clothing
I have an opportunity to go to a vintage clothing sale today - 50s to y2k. Over the past couple months we've been getting into reselling clothing but am still VERY new. I anticipate feeling very overwhelmed at this sale. What should I focus on? Any insight is much appreciated!

Sourcing funk
I'd love some encouraging thoughts :) We are a sell everything business which started out in Oct/Nov 2023. I've been trying to get more into the clothing realm and have done a few sourcing recon missions (haha) to our Goodwill store which is 30min away as we live in a rural area. During these trips, I've typically just stayed in the mens and womens pant sections but am having a hard time finding good STR brands. Everything is Lee, Hagar, Dockers, Gloria V, George, Levi's, Wranglers, etc. So I end up walking out empty handed which is not ideal considering the mileage cost spent each time I go. It is very unlikely that I'll find any of those money making BOLO clothing brands that everyone talks about in the top 50 lists. Is there still money to be made in some of these other more mainstream brands if the COG is low enough? Maybe in specific sizes, colors, etc? Thanks for any insight!!

@Jerry Wilson thanks for asking 😊 Every week I'm so busy with my full time job so haven't had much time to work on a good brand list. Although I did have one started already that many of the brands in your post are on. So I really just need to add some more and organize it a bit differently. Planning to go to SA this weekend and potentially pick up some Auction Ninja items if I win tonight. Haha

Dealing with financial stress has always been a family challenge. Recently, we started our reselling business with the goal of financial freedom.
