Holy smokes!
I bought a dump truck!! I got a really good deal on an older dump truck so I will be adding services to the list as well as being able to haul my own material for smaller jobs. It’s still early in the business but I’ve decided to put all of my focus and energy into my business rather than trying to build it on the side. It’s scary and exciting all at the same time.

Those of you who are starting your business - Are there any specific resources you would like ? @Kaylen van Vuuren is working on compiling more helpful resources for this group For example - our Yard Sign / Flyer Template has been requested a lot... Here's the link: https://www.canva.com/design/DAFzlc8sYGU/L1gCOwdBaAv3bu_3FFSBag/edit What else would y'all like help with or access to? @Jackson Gray @Jake Pavelle @Trevor Fontaine @Franklin Featherston

Pricing excel sheets for bidding jobs. Rates for mulching as well as average acreage cleared per day
Class A no restrictions CDL acquired!
I tend to have multiple things going on and some things get pushed to the side… let me explain… no too much, let me sum up! So imagine sitting in the parking lot in your testing semi waiting to be called to take your driving test only when they come to get you they let you know that your ELDT online class has expired literally the 1st of this month. So, holy crap right? I literally took the ELDT online portion and resubmitted my results in 1 hour and 20 minutes!! Notified the testing facility and patiently waited to see if they were going to let me test or wonder how I got it done so fast. They let me test and I passed with flying colors!! What an eventful Friday that was!

What a week!!
Another week another update!! I got Jobber set up just in time!! Being able to book calls and send confirmation has went over really well with customers! I took this week to buckle down and get my CDL so that I can haul larger equipment if needed. So far I have booked a lead for every day next week. Mostly septic. If I have learned anything in a short amount of time I have learned that you have to get it on the schedule. Don’t talk pricing over the phone… get on site and walk the project with the customer. I do believe I will be finding my niche in septic installation!

@Trevor Fontaine my dad owns a hot shot company, he is hip on all of the DOT stuff and can help me get everything I need. I do appreciate the offer though!
Week one down!
The reality is that I sold zero jobs. 4 leads only 1 that is going to possibly convert. Website is being built. Ads are running on FB Google stuff is being optimized. No one said it would be easy. #stayfiredup

@Trevor Fontaine that’s actually a great idea to talk with rental companies! I’m going to do that.
