A Little Help๐Ÿ˜…
I have a question: the other day, I went to the dentist for the first time, and without my knowledge, the lady applied for a loan/credit card (Care Credit) on my behalf to help with payments, which I didnโ€™t need any additional help for. As a result, my credit score dropped by 71 points. Iโ€™m seeking advice on what I should do. Should I pay off the loan and then close the account, or should I dispute the hard inquiry? A few additional details: - Credit Score Drop: -71 points - New Account Opened: The dentist applied for the Care Credit account. - Total Debt: It went from $14 to $2,516 due to the new account. - Credit Utilization: My credit utilization went from 1% to 56% because of the new account.

Yes, I can pay off the full amount... Wasn't really sure on what to do but your response really helped me out, Just hoping the account does close after paying it off because i don't plan on using it in the long run and I know that might effect me. Thank you
