Maybe you can use another app to recieve your payment
A new, old strategy❓🧐
Currently the simplest strategy suggested by the gurus is: free group -> onboarding call -> paid HT or LT What are your thoughts on: call -> HT or LT with the LT being a paid group and the HT being a paid premium group? P.s. I know I’m not reinventing the wheel lol this is essentially how most people were teaching it before a free Skool group was used as a lead magnet Cons ❌ - More barrier of entry - Probably less conversion % - More upfront work to qualify and book Pros ✅ - Probably higher qualified individuals in a LT vs free - Revenue generated from the leads in the LT - Potential for more engagement since the buy in is more than free My initial thought is: if you’re going to be managing two groups and booking a call either way, why not institute the potential of generating revenue?

Best ideas to create an Animal-themed community 🐷
Here are some fun and engaging ideas for an animal-themed community in Skool: 1. Pet Showcase Create a space where members can share photos and videos of their pets. Host “Pet of the Week” contests or themed photo challenges (e.g., funniest pet, cutest nap, etc.). 2. Animal Care & Tips Share advice on pet care, including nutrition, grooming, training, and health tips. Members can also ask questions or offer recommendations for products or veterinarians. 3. Wildlife Lovers Club Focus on wild animals and nature conservation. Members can discuss wildlife sightings, endangered species, and efforts to protect natural habitats. Include wildlife photography, documentaries, or facts. 4. Adopt, Don’t Shop Create a platform to promote pet adoption and rescue stories. Partner with shelters and rescue organizations to highlight adoptable animals, fostering programs, and volunteer opportunities. 5. Animal Art & Crafts Encourage members to share their animal-inspired art, whether it's drawings, paintings, sculptures, or crafts. Hold themed challenges like “draw your favorite animal” or “craft an animal mask.” 6. Animal Fun Facts & Trivia Post daily or weekly fun facts about different animals and their unique behaviors. You can also create trivia quizzes to test members’ knowledge about animals. 7. Pet Training & Behavior Tips Offer a space for discussing training tips for pets, from basic commands to behavioral issues. Invite experienced trainers or behaviorists to offer advice through Q&A sessions or live demos. 8. Animal Rescue Stories Share heartwarming or heroic stories of animal rescues from around the world. Encourage members to share their own experiences of rescuing or fostering animals. 9. Zoo & Sanctuary Explorers Members can share their visits to zoos, animal sanctuaries, or safaris, complete with pictures and stories of the animals they encountered. You can also discuss different animal care practices in these facilities. 10. Animal-Themed Challenges & Games

Mel Abraham's Lack Stack of Fear Framework for Skool
So, I’ve been diving into this framework by Mel Abraham called The Lack Stack of Fear, and it got me thinking about how it applies to building a Skool platform in any niche. This framework is all about replacing fear with understanding, confidence, and courage, which is exactly what we need when stepping into something new like launching a community. By the way, have you heard the acronym for FEAR? There’s the classic "False Evidence Appearing Real," but Tony Robbins jokingly threw out "F*CK EVERYTHING AND RUN!" 😂 That one always cracks me up. Anyway, let’s break down the Lack Stack of Fear and how it plays into creating a Skool platform: 1. Lack of Clarity This is all about uncertainty. When starting your Skool platform, the first step is to get super clear about why you're doing it and who you're doing it for. What problem are you solving in your niche, and how will this platform serve your audience? If you're fuzzy on this, you'll struggle to grow a community that feels purposeful. So, get that clarity dialed in early. 2. Lack of Information Not having enough info can paralyze decision-making. With your Skool platform, you’ve got to understand what your members want, the tools you need to deliver, and how the platform functions. Arm yourself with the knowledge of what works in community-building, whether that's through studying others in your niche, researching engagement strategies, or learning the backend of Skool. When you’re informed, your platform becomes a smoother, more impactful experience. 3. Lack of Commitment Here’s the tough question: Are you just dabbling, or are you all in on making this Skool platform a success? If you’re not committed, it’ll show in how you show up for your members (or don’t). You need to be ready to commit the time and energy to build relationships, create content, and keep the momentum going. Moving from “interested” to committed is what will set your platform apart and drive long-term success. 4. Lack of Action You’ve got clarity, information, and commitment—but if you don’t take consistent action, it’s all for nothing. This is where we tend to get stuck, especially in the early stages when it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. The antidote to fear is action. Post, engage, create value, and learn as you go. Each small step forward will give you more confidence and refine your approach. Skool is about community, so engaging and being proactive is key.
