14 contributions to Continuous Improvement
Let me introduce Continuous Improvement to you, because that's why we're here :)
Continuous improvement is a fundamental philosophy in business and personal development, focusing on making small, incremental changes to enhance processes, products, or services. This approach, rooted in the Japanese concept of "Kaizen," emphasizes the importance of ongoing effort and teamwork in driving efficiency and effectiveness. Key Principles: - Incremental Changes: Small, consistent improvements over time rather than drastic overhauls. - Team Involvement: Engaging all team members in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. - Focus on Processes: Concentrating on refining processes to enhance overall productivity and quality. Benefits: - Increased Efficiency: Streamlining processes to save time and resources. - Enhanced Quality: Continuously refining products and services to meet higher standards. - Employee Engagement: Encouraging team participation in problem-solving fosters a culture of ownership and innovation. What others have said: Taiichi Ohno, one of the pioneers of the Toyota Production System, often emphasized the power of small, continuous changes. He believed that even the smallest improvements, when applied consistently, could lead to significant advancements over time. His approach revolutionized manufacturing processes and set a global standard for efficiency and quality. Now's your turn: Think about one area in your work where you see the potential for continuous improvement. It could be a routine task, a team process, or even a personal habit. Start by asking yourself this question: "What is one small change I can make today to improve this area?" Share your thoughts with your team and encourage them to join you in making continuous improvements. So, what is one area in your work where you see the potential for continuous improvement?

Ilmaista konsultointia!
Hei Suomi-ystävät. Etsin koekaniineja testatakseni yhtä ideaa liittyen Basic-kurssilla esitettyyn Laatukriteeripuu-menetelmään. Sehän on tekniikka, jolla puretaan asiakkaan (ehkä joskus jopa vähän hämärästi ymmärretyt) tarpeet yksittäisiksi konkreettisiksi tehtäviksi, joita voidaan mitata. Katso tästä alta lyhyt video asiasta ja ota yhteyttä tai ilmianna kaverisi, jota asia voisi kiinnostaa! https://www.skool.com/continuous-improvement/classroom/c6ad49c5?md=db75781b2c294ad69beb12a75059d10e

Got Basics course feedback?
After watching the Basic course, please give some feedback in this thread! I'm eating my own soup here so make your voice heard so that I can act upon it! :) In the comments I've already added some ideas for what I'd like to hear about. https://www.skool.com/continuous-improvement/classroom/c6ad49c5?md=6c6b656de61a4ed7bd65b67906f12e07

Is the pace of presenting ok? How about the tone of voice? Too monotonous? Are you able to follow what's presented or are there distractions?

One feedback that I've received relates to the need to define the theoretical framework I'm using or coming from. Continuous improvement is a part of operations management and management studies in general, and one would be able to study these in business schools and schools or departments of management.
