🐑 🩸 Passover has commenced! 🔥🔥 Pentecost is coming upon us which means the Exodus Season is in full swing 🙌🏽 Let’s take a moment to look deeper into the Biblical and Spiritual significance 1. Passover: commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt, as described in the Book of Exodus (11-15) • During this festival, the Israelites sacrificed a lamb and marked their doorposts with its blood, which served as a sign for the angel of death to pass over their homes and spare their firstborn sons. • Passover is a time for us to remember our deliverance and express gratitude for our freedom from bondage because of the Blood of Jesus! 2. Pentecost: is observed 50 days after Passover and celebrates the giving of the Torah (the Law) to the Israelites at Mount Sinai (Exodus 19 and 20) • On this day, Jews also commemorate the wheat harvest in ancient Israel which is spiritually signifies to Believers of the Way, the harvest of souls into the Kingdom of God! • Pentecost is also celebrated to commemorate the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples of Jesus after his ascension, as described in the New Testament book of Acts, chapter 2. May we understand and have the utmost reverence and gratitude during this season with an EXPECTATION that we are leaving Egypt and entering the Promised Land, free from all afflictions, generational curses, bondage, sicknesses, and strongholds in the name of Jesus! “So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.” Exodus 3:8
