Goals Vs Areas
Yo @Carter Surach - This is a thing of absolute beauty!!! I've been filling it in today and I'm already kicking my own ass for how unproductive my life has been without this template. Kudos brother, worth every penny ❤️ - Quick question... I'm slightly confused between sub-areas and goals: I've got an 'Area', let's say "💪🏼 My Business" Underneath that, I have a project I'm working on called 'Product Launch 1' - At the moment, I've added "Product Launch 1" to 'sub-area' of "💪🏼 My Business" - and all associated tasks/modules etc are listed as Tasks within the Sub Area... So basically: "💪🏼 My Business" (Area) > "Product Launch 1" (Sub-Area) > Tasks (Tasks).... Is this the generally accepted hierarchy of processing projects and workflows? If so, what's the need for "Goals" under the 'Add New' quick menu? I've just tried adding new Goal for "Product Launch 1", but it feels like it does VERY similar things to the Sub-Area option... Plus, I can access tasks, areas and sub-areas on my sidebar but not goals... Not really sure of the Goal item and what it's used for tbh. Great product dude, REALLY happy with it 😌

OK, Brill, thanks for the response mate. Although I appreciate your insight, I still am not fully grasping the difference. So in "plan" view for example, I see I can have a time line for all of my various goals, hence, I can say X goal has Y time to run, and A goal has B time left on it, and obviously I can assign tasks to goals as well as sub-areas so, I'm struggling to see the difference why I would choose one (Goals) over the other (Sub-Area). I'm about to put my ENTIRE life through this because I'm already seeing huge benefits, I just want to make sure I'm using the right hierarchy and functionality to get the most out of the template. Appreciate you brother 👍
