DM instead of "link in bio": how about YOUTUBE?? (no DM's)
so we all understand the idea behind making posts on IG (or Facebook) asking our audience to DM us. Something like "if you want this masterclass for free DM 'masterclass' and i'll send you the link." The purpose is to initiate a conversation through DM. ➡️ But what if YOUTUBE is your biggest platform? There are no DM's on youtube, you cannot directly reach out to a youtube user, and you can't have a private conversation. So what alternative you have to **link in bio** ?

@Mitchell Dong thank you so much for this answer. I was thinking too much about my shorts, trying to come up with just 1 cta that would do it for all shorts (especially when you upload daily). Better would be indeed to integrate the cta in a long and choose to right cta for the right topic. So I guess it would be a good idea to have a few (maybe) 3 freebies with each a landing page, and choose according to the contents of the long. thanks 🙏

@Mitchell Dong I started with 1 paid skool group, but the plan has always been to have a free one as well. I just decided to do things step by step. I had to start somewhere. now, after 10 days of soft launch and 20 members at 27usd, I feel it's already time to start considering the implementation of the free group. Cause it's simply gonna be the most efficient way to sell the paid one. cheers
Stephen g pope : no cta to skool page?
hi, just curious.. I watched the case study of Stephen g pope. So I checked out his tiktok and YouTube. I was looking at his cta to the skool page. didn't find any. there is no cta to skool on the shorts, not in the caption, and no link to skool in bio. so I just wonder how he's getting his audience to join the skool page?

@Mitchell Dong thanks for the reply. yes I think that was the video. 1/ so that would be some type of freebie and from there get them to the skool page? 2/ makes sense. it's like saying "if you're interested in..." please DM [word]. and then you give them your skool page URL. OK so no direct linking to the skool page, instead use some kind of funnel. thanks 🙏

@Mitchell Dong thanks for the feedback you posted already today
linking youtube shorts straight to your promo video: yes or no?
what would be best pratice to link a youtube short to your skool community? (since links in the description of a short aren't clickable, and nobody watches that desciption anyway) How about linking to a related video, which would be your promo video. good or bad idea?

@Mitchell Dong 6 week breathwork training program My YT channel: Gert Leroy Underwater the 5 best performing shorts have the promo video as related video (it's a first version of a promo video, i could make it better off course)

@Mitchell Dong might be a good idea to make a few of those promo videos, all with a different twist so I can choose which one to link to depending on the contents of the short. But yeah, I could invest in making a few more professional promo videos, with visuals that keep the viewer watching. I'll give it a try. thanks for giving me the confidence to do so 😀
