Shopping for skates, how to?
I'm ready to leave my "learner" skates for charity & invest in my 1st pair of "good" skates. Can we get a discussion of tips for what to look for? Wheel sizes, bearings & the difference? What should be looked for in a plate? How do you choose the right size boot?

What is your budget? If you are rink skating, a leather Riedell package with metal plates. 57mm wheels 97 98 or 99 hardness with what ever bearings they come with would be good. Entry level would be 200-300 dollars and you could go higher with higher quality boots/plates and wheels.
