For my part, I believe that AI will have a profound impact on basic jobs in the years to come, eliminating many positions while creating far fewer. The IMF talks of 60% job losses. Employee adaptability and the ability of companies to redefine their talent management models will be crucial to mitigating the negative effects. Investing in training and ensuring a fair distribution of the benefits of AI will also be essential. The most protected trades are those where human relations are important, manual jobs... white-collar workers will be the most impacted by AI including in the IT sector for those without expertise.
