@Alex H Hahahaha! YES!!
What do you do with your finished/completed journals?
i was just wondering how people are storing completed journals/notebooks and how long everyone is intending to keep them for? I'm thinking more for ones that you use to keep your 'journal' pages in. So private thoughts and musings that you might never want others to see. How do you store them? How often do you go back and look at completed ones? How long do you intend to keep them for? Forever? I'm close to the end of my first journal and am getting nervous about what I do now!!!

I've been journaling since I was 3 and my older sister had me dictate to her and she's write what I said. I have a full shelf of all my journals on my bookcase. I don't think it's anyone else's business to read them, but my husband respects my privacy so I'm comfortable with keeping them visible, despite them being personal. When I was younger, I'd asked my older sister to burn them if I were to die. Now, I am pretty confident no one cares enough about what I scribble in notebooks, so I'm not worried about what might happen after I die. But I like them close at hand because I do occasionally check things and re-read past journals.

@Cara Cook Ooh! I've considered starting my second career in that, as I am passionate about food and think so many of the mental and physical health problems in the US (where I live) are based on diet. I struggle with IBS so the issue is personal as well.

@Malia-Jaye Lewis Hi! what are some of the different types of things you keep the different journals for?
Combo Planners/Journals
I'd love to see and hear about how others combine a planner with journaling. I've been trying to figure out how to make this work for myself for a while and would love to learn how others do it.

I always do a combo. I just start the month with a 2 page spread for my calendar of the month, with a little mini calendar of the following month. The next several pages are planner and tracker pages for the month. After that, I just free write throughout the month. As the month winds down, I use the next two pages for my monthly review, and then the following two begin the next month. That's what I love about BuJo - it's so flexible. I rarely do weekly spreads, as they're too constraining for me. I just do the monthly spreads. For the weeks I'm super busy and need more of a planner, I have a separate planner, Scribbles that Matter's Productive Week's planner.

@Stace Dumoski It really depends on the month! I usually get about 5-6 months per 160 page STM. But I started a new BuJo in April and started created 1-2 page spreads for every book I read, including my thoughts on the book, plus my favorite quotes. Maybe I'm writing more lately too. But at this rate, it seems I'll only fit 3 months into the BuJo which is a bit excessive for me! However, I don't decorate all my pages. I primarily use BuJo the way Carroll initially wrote about in his Bullet Journal book, with just words and keeping it simple. The only pages I decorate are my calendar spreads & the book pages. So therefore, I decorate if I have time and want to be creative in that way. But most of the time, I focus on planning, journaling, and tracking.

Been journaling all my life, but discovered bullet journaling during quarantine.
